You Even Seduced Your Brother!
(Victoria’s POV)
Two months. Two whole months I’d been away from Silvercrest City, managing that overseas project for Shadowpeak Enterprises. It was the longest I’d ever been away since joining the Chase Pack.
But I had to leave. That conversation with Dominic still haunted my nightmares.
His cold blue eyes had pierced right through me when he asked about Amber’s kidnapping in high school. The way he said it, so casual yet so pointed, like he already knew the answer.
“Victoria, you were there that day, weren’t you?”
I’d managed to keep my composure then, but inside I was screaming. How could he know? We’d covered everything up so perfectly. Even Amber had stopped talking about it years ago.
But Dominic’s words brought it all back. The fear in Amber’s eyes when the police found her. The way she lunged at me afterward, consumed by rage and terror.
I’d fled the city that very night, telling Harrison I needed to oversee the European expansion personally. He’d been impressed by my dedication.
If only he knew I was running from ghosts.
Now I was back, and nothing had changed. The nightmares still came. Dominic’s suspicion still lingered in every glance.
But I couldn’t stay away forever. Not when I heard Harrison was arranging Henry’s mating ceremony.
My Henry. My beautiful, guilty, conflicted Henry.
The thought of him with someone else made my wolf pace restlessly beneath my skin. She wanted to mark hím, claim him, make everyone understand that he belonged to us.
But Henry didn’t see it that way anymore.
When I first came to the Chase Pack House at twelve, I’d been drawn to the warmth Henry showed Amber. The gentle way he’d ruffle her hair, bring her favorite snacks, listen to her complaints about school.
I wanted that attention. Craved it.
At first, it was innocent enough. I’d drink from his cup, hoping to taste what he tasted. I’d linger in his study wearing my silk nightgown, pretending to discuss pack business while watching his eyes struggle not to wander.
When he started dating Sophia, I knew I had to act.
Business trips became opportunities. I’d book adjoining rooms, feign nightmares, show up at his door in tears. Henry tried to maintain distance, but he was too kind, too protective.
The night he finally gave in, I thought I’d won everything.
But his guilt afterward was unbearable. He treated Sophia even better, showered her with attention I should have received.
So I made sure she saw us together. One perfectly timed kiss in his office, knowing she’d walk in.
I thought I was helping her escape a cheating mate, I never expected her to lose the baby.
That guilt still ate at Henry. It’s why he kept trying to legitimize what we had, suggesting I change my name back, study abroad, manage overseas projects together.
But by then, I had bigger dreams. Dominic Blackwood. The future Alpha King.
Henry was my stepping stone to power, nothing more.

Or so I told myself.
Now, hearing about his mating ceremony with that weak little Warren girl, I felt something crack inside my chest.
I’d tried everything to win him back these past few days. Offered to spend the night, suggested we run away together, reminded him of every promise he’d ever made.
“We need to remain siblings, Victoria,” he’d said firmly. “Naomi is gentle, like Sophia was. I want to do right by her. I want to atone.”
Atone. As if what we had was something shameful.
He’d left me alone in the private dining room then, walking away like I meant nothing.
But I couldn’t let him go. Not like this.
I followed him to the parking lot, my heels clicking against the concrete. My car was parked in the farthest corner, away from prying eyes.
Perfect.
“Henry, wait!”
He turned, his face already set in that patient, brotherly expression I’d grown to hate.
I didn’t give him a chance to speak. I wrapped my arms around him from behind, pressing my body against his back.
“You promised me,” I whispered against his neck. “You said we’d always be together. You said I was the only one who understood you.”
His body tensed. “Victoria, stop. People could see.”
“I don’t care.” My grip tightened. “If you mate with her, I’ll never mate with anyone. I’ll stay single forever, just to spite you.”
“That’s not fair.”
“Fair?” I laughed bitterly. “Nothing about this is fair. You’re throwing away what we have for some weak little girl who doesn’t even want you.”
He tried to pull away, but I held on tighter.
“She doesn’t want you, Henry. I can see it in her eyes. She’s terrified of you, of this whole arrangement. But I want you. I’ve always wanted you.”
“Victoria, please—”
I spun him around, forcing him to face me. His amber eyes, so like Amber’s, were filled with pain and confusion.
“Choose me,” I whispered, rising on my toes to bring my lips closer to his. “Choose us.”
(Amber’s POV)
I watched from behind a pillar as Victoria practically threw herself at my brother. Naomi stood beside me, her face pale with
shock
“Is that really…?” she whispered.
“Oh yes,” I said, holding up my phone to record. “My dear sister and brother, having their little reunion.”
Naomi’s hands trembled. “But they’re siblings.”
“Adoptive siblings,” I corrected. “No blood relation. Though that doesn’t make it any less disgusting.”
I’d suspected something was off between them for years. The way Victoria looked at Henry, the way he avoided being alone with

her, the guilt that seemed to eat at him constantly.
When I’d asked Naomi in the powder room if she really wanted to thate with Henry, her immediate “no” had confirmed my suspicions. She was being forced into this just as much as Henry was forcing himself.
“If you don’t want to mate with him, then that’s fine,” I’d told her “But first, let me show you something”
Now, watching Victoria kiss Henry in the parking lot, I felt a surge of satisfaction. Finally, I had proof
“Should we stop them?” Naomi asked, looking sick.
“Not yet. Let them dig their own grave a little deeper.”
I’d already sent a text to my mother, telling her to come to the parking lot immediately. Something about needing to discuss Victoria’s behavior,
Melanie would be here any minute.
“Amber,” Naomi whispered urgently. “Someone’s coming ”
I looked up to see my mother striding across the parking lot, her face already dark with suspicion. She must have seen them from the restaurant windows.
“Perfect timing,” I murmured, grinning “Get ready, Naomi. When my mother starts yelling, I need you to scream about witnessing the kiss. Really sell it.”
“I can’t-”
“You can and you will. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life mated to a man who’s in love with his sister.”
Naomi’s face went white, but she nodded.
Melanie reached them just as Victoria deepened the kiss, her hands tangling in Henry’s hair. For a moment, my mother just stood there, frozen in disbelief.
Then she exploded.
“HENRY CHASE!” she roared, grabbing him by the shoulder and yanking him away from Victoria. “What in the Moon Goddess’s name do you think you’re doing?”
The slap that followed echoed across the parking lot. Victoria stumbled backward, her hand flying to her cheek.
Melanie’s amber eyes blazed with fury as she pointed a trembling finger at Victoria.
“Victoria! You ungrateful wretch! How dare you, how dare you! He’s your brother, and you actually seduced your brother!”
