Dorian wanted to say something, but Miranda immediately interrupted him, “Alpha Stafford, last time Selena and I didn’t tell- you. Aria is the Luna of Alpha Ravencrest.”
Since Kane has brought Aria to these kinds of occasions, even though they had said their relationship was nothing.
Moreover, she couldn’t quite figure out Javier’s attitude towards Aria. If Javier had any intentions towards Aria, it would be perfect to nip it in the bud.
Kane shook the wine in his glass lightly, “She is my mate, Alpha Stafford. Are you surprised?”
Javier looked at Aria talking to someone not far away and thought of Selena’s attitude last time, suddenly laughed, “It’s quite surprising, after all..” He paused for a few seconds, “She doesn’t seem like the Luna of the Ravencrest Pack.”
Kane stared straight at him without looking away, his alpha dominance flaring at the challenge.
Miranda joked, “Alpha Stafford, your words are not appropriate, how could Aria not be like the Ravencrest Pack’s Luna.”
“Your daughter gave Aria such a hard time last time, one would think they were enemies, how could she possibly be a sister–in–law?”
Javier’s words made Miranda’s face change.
Sensing Kane’s expression, Dorian whispered sternly, “Didn’t I tell you to discipline our daughter? Why are she targeting Luna
again?”
After all, his daughter had targeted Aria like this not for the first time. Privately, he didn’t want to intervene, but when it came to the surface, especially in front of Kane, he had to show some attitude.
Miranda squeezed out a smile and said, “You know Selena’s personality, she is always straightforward and outspoken.”
“Being straightforward and speaking without thinking are two different things. The personality of your daughter is worrying,” Javier said, setting down his glass and completely ignoring the expressions on Dorian and Miranda’s faces as he walked
towards Aria.
His wolf was drawn to her again, recognizing something familiar yet indefinable.
Kane watched him leave, then took a sip and finished the wine in his cup.
At that moment, Aria had just finished talking to someone when she turned her head and saw Javier approaching, with a smile on his face, “Alpha Stafford.”

She was taken aback and suddenly changed her words, “Brother.”
Javier nodded in satisfaction and continued chatting with her, when Selena and Seraphina appeared in the crowd.

Without waiting for Kane to speak. Dorian angrily retorted, “Selena, shut up!”
Selena pursed her lips and didn’t say anything more.
Seraphina lowered her gaze, subconsciously clutching her handbag tightly. After a while, she approached Kane and whispered. “Kane, is it inappropriate for me to come over?”
He didn’t change his expression. “No.”
Aria looked at Seraphina and Kane, sneering inwardly.
So Kane brought Seraphina too, taking care of both ends, huh? Quite the multitasker!
