Dorothy returned to Tranquility Apartments and suddenly received a call from Tyrell. She picked up and answered, “Tyrell?”
“Why aren’t you in the hospital anymore, transferred?”
“Are you sick?”
The man signed at the nurse station, “No, a friend broke a bone and was hospitalized. I came to check on him, and I was planning to see you on the way, but you weren’t here.”
Dorothy nodded suddenly, “I resigned. Anyway, I will be transferred soon, so I’ll just take a long vacation.”
“Are you free to have dinner together tonight?”
Dorothy stopped in front of the elevator, paused for a few seconds, “Are you treating?”
“What else?”
“If you treat me, I won’t go, otherwise I always take advantage of you, I can’t live with my conscience.”
He laughed heartily and said, “Okay, okay, you treat, for real this time.”
Dorothy muttered, “Are you kidding me?”
He heard it, rubbing his temples helplessly, “Ancestors, really, if I pay this time, I’ll teach you how to bark like a dog.”
Suddenly, a woman’s sneer came from the other end of the phone, followed by his own voice, “What are you laughing at? It’s not like I’m doing this for you guys.”
Dorothy couldn’t help but chuckle, “Okay, see you tonight.”
“You will send me the address in a while.”
After ending the call, Dorothy stepped into the elevator.
At seven o’clock in the evening, she had already booked the restaurant early, waiting for the others.
Not long after, Tyrell appeared in the lobby, his gaze scanning through the crowd, and he spotted her at once, walking towards her.
He wore a floral shirt, paired with a white casual suit jacket. This flashy outfit, if worn by another man, would seem tacky, but on Tyrell, it exuded a sense of style that few could pull off.
Perhaps it was because he had a naturally “idol–like” face, coupled with a good figure, if he pursued a career in the entertainment industry, he would definitely not be lacking.
