Chapter 19
Kol’s POV
“Yeah, where is Lacy? I saw her bikini and some empty beer
cans by the pool” Melina asked.
Fuck.
“I don’t have any idea what she is up to “I denied as naturally as
I could.
“Son,” my dad said in a stern voice. I truend to look at him with
feigned innocence. He looked pointedly at the bathing suits and
beer cans.
“Oh!” I acted surprised. “Maybe she was doing her podcast with
her friend or something” I added with a shrug, my heart
hammering in my chest, and didn’t look back all the way to my
room. I felt bad for abandoning Jim and Lacy out there, but it
was the only way. Better they thought lacy was drinking than
fooling around with her stepbrother.
[End of Flashback]
I looked up at Melina and gave a wide grin.
Chapter 19
“I will inform him about the dinner” Melina nodded in approval
and drank some water.
“Who are you inviting for dinner?” Lacy asked, pulling me into
her room after the breakfast.
“Well, our parents think there is something going on between
you and Jim. Your Mom asked me to invite him dinner.” I
explained
“Fuck, so they think me and Jim” she stuttered helplessly.
“But you can pretend that you two are in a relationship and
stage a breakup later” I suggested with a shrug.
“What about-” Lacy trailed off, her eyes looked into mine
expectantly. I could easily decipher her thoughts.
“What?” I scoffed looking down at her with a smug expression.
“Don’t tell me you think there is something between us. Is this some fairytale love story to you?” I advanced towards her in
slow steps, Lacy backed away in disbelief.
“But it was…” Lacy didn’t expect my harsh words, and it was hitting her pretty hard. I’m not stopping yet though because she
can’t cling on me. I won’t allow that.

“We had sex and it was good. Are we supposed to be dating
now? Or get married perhaps?” Her back hit the wall stopping
her from moving away from me any further.
Lacy’s breathing was ragged, she was holding back her tears
which had stemmed from her obvious rage. I grabbed her
shoulder, pressing her against the wall.
“The sex was just me doing you a favour by taking your virginity”
I held my dick as I spoke.
“Kol!”
“If you think this is some sort of forbidden love story then you’d better stop reading those fucked up books of yours” I spatted harshly and left the room, slamming the door hard behind me.
I spend the day gaming in my room and ignoring Jim’s strings of replies after I had informed him about the dinner. It wasn’t until I heard him arrived that I stood up to take a shower.
“Kol! Come down for dinner” Melina called from downstairs
while I was drying my hair.
I met the four of them, including Melina, Dad, Lacy and Jim in the formal living room. They were having a drink. Jim looked

She provokingly but subtly latched on to Jim’s arm in an angle.
visible to only me. Her intention to provoke me was clear, I
quietly sat down and ignored her.
“So what are your plans after college?” Melina asked after a
graceful sip of her drink.
“I plan to go to architecture school” Jim replied.
“That’s cool” Melina praised while Dad gave him a nod.
The table was finally set and we moved to the dinning area. I couldn’t hide my surprise when I saw the huge platter of roast
vegetable lamb leg.
Do they really think Jim is a potential son–in–law or what?
It felt ridiculous and just wanted to tell them it was all a sham. Lacy seemed happy as she ate with relish and sent occasional
smiles towards Jim.
They kept making up stories about their nonexistent
relationship. I was getting too agitated and it was more
annoying.
Fuck, I was not going to like this evening.
Chapter 19
I was tempted to just shock everybody by telling the truth. It was
the three of us fucking around last night, okay I had fucking
fooled around with both Lacy and Jim.
I was the one. But obvirously I was the one who was upsetting.
Lacy and Jim seemed like so deep in it.
Lacy tossed her head back with carefree laughter in response to
something David was talking about, “Jim loves all the marvel
series as” Lacy chuckled acting all lovey–dovey with Jim.
“Yes I am.” Jim agreed with a smirk. They looked at each other like a couple in love. How the fuck Lacy knew Jim’s favorate
movie? She knew nothing about Jim.
She knew what was my favorate movie, what she talked about was me. She had inherited her mother’s acting skills overnight.
Lacy was clearly trying to get back at me for the harsh words I said to her in the morning, and I would say she’s doing a good
job because I was fuming.
“Should we watch a movie?” Melina suggested after the dinner.
“That’s ok-“Jim wanted to agree but I cut him off.
“Don’t you have practice exam tomorrow?” I asked him instead.
“Oh! Yes, thanks for reminding me. I–I have to leave now “Jim
Took the nint and pade goodnight.
“Okay, good night and best of luck” Melina bade him goodnight.
We all sent Jim to the door. After he left, I turned to Lacy and
say, “Do you want to watch a movie? I can accompany you sis”
“I’m off to bed. Goodnight” Lacy glared at me angrily in reply. I
watched her walked to our parents and kissed their cheeks
goodnight with a frown before heading up the stairs.
