She shut the door behind her and held up her phone in front of my face, acting all secretive.
The smug look she had could not be hidden.
“Genevieve, look at this.”
When I saw the photo on her screen, my head felt like it was about to explode.
It was a clear shot of my upper body. Almost everything was showing except for my nipples.
Cecelia watched my face like she was savoring it. Then, she threatened me, her voice dripping like poison.

I had not even caught my breath yet. I scoffed and snapped, “You still want to play innocent after what you…”
Before I could finish, a hard slap sent me to the floor.
It all happened so fast.

He pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a long drag.
The smoke helped him feel a bit calmer, but the annoyance in his chest did not really go away.
After they bought the new phone, Cecelia hopped into the car gleefully.
However, before she could even buckle up, Luca looked over and said, “Get out.”
“What?” Cecelia stared at him, stunned.
“You can take a cab home.”
Before she could say anything else, he pushed her out of the car.
Immediately after, he slammed the door shut and hit the gas.
When he got home and was about to open the door, a neighbor stopped him.
