The reason he didn’t say anything was just because the person who vetoed it was Bianca.
He was trying to build up Bianca’s authority, wanting everyone in the company to respect Bianca and submit to her.

“Do you think Mr. Livingston got cursed or something? Why does Ms. Webster get to decide everything?” Katheryn was super annoyed and had no one to talk to, so she just vented to Britney.
“Very simple, help Ms. Webster secure her position.” Britney was already over it.
Even if this made Rodrick announce he was giving Royarch Capital to Bianca, she wouldn’t be surprised anymore.
“What kind of favoritism do you need to show just to secure some position? Are you treating her like she’s gonna be the future boss lady of Royarch Capital or something?”

Britney reacted really calmly, she could even joke with her, “Maybe that’s true, so you better stop talking behind people’s backs. If someone finds out, you’ll lose your job.”
