Chapter 11
After wiping the blood from Theodore’s brow bone, the corner of his eye, and along, his cheek with a damp test, Eiland Herzen he
She let out a quiet sigh. He hadn’t eaten and was injured it was no wonder he was to weak
“What do you want to eat? I’ll order delivery, Eliana said.
As soon as she finished, his first reaction was to frown again. Eliana added lightly, “Or would you rather pass out from funger and let me hate my way with you?”
Theodore gritted his teeth. “You wouldn’t dare.”
Eliana leaned in and deliberately let out a soft laugh beside his ear. “Didn’t you say I took your grandfather’s offer just to have a Baby with you? Then you’d better stay alert at all times and not give me the chance,”
Her laugh was light and crisp, and it made the tips of Theodore’s ears burn. He instinctively leaned back.
The next second, he realized he could’ve shoved her away just now. There was no reason to dodge.
Seeing this bossy hothead rendered speechless with fury for once, Eliana couldn’t help but laugh, her beautiful eyes sparkling with joy.
Unexpectedly, Theodore’s vision suddenly returned. It lasted for only a few seconds before falling back into darkness, but it was enough for him to catch her smirking expression.
The flash of clarity made him feel both irritated and humiliated. Without thinking, he snatched the towel from her hand and balled it up like he was taking it out on it.
Seeing that, Eliana exclaimed in shock, “Wait, you can see?”
Theodore froze almost imperceptibly, then sneered. “If I could see, the first thing I’d do is throw you out of Russell Manor.”
Eliana thought, ‘That makes sense. He can’t wait to get rid of me now that he’s blind. Once he gets his sight back, he’ll probably want me gone even
faster.
*But whatever. This marriage’s always been a transaction. If he really, does regain his vision one day, that just means I’ve held up my end of the deal with my dad.
‘I’ll have earned every benefit fair and square. As for him wanting a divorce then? I’d be thrilled. Who wants to spend their life with such a short- tempered hothead anyway?‘
With a hopeful vision of a free future in mind, Eliana perked up and asked, “By the way, where’s the first aid kit?”
Theodore gave her that stony silence again. Left with no choice, Eliana searched around the room herself. After turning the place upside down, all she managed to find was an old, worn–out bandage strip.
She couldn’t help but recall that the pills she gave Theodore earlier had been delivered by Wyatt. It looked like she’d have to go ask Wyatt again.
Before leaving, she pressed the bandage strip forcefully onto Theodore’s forehead.
The pressure on the wound made it sting a little, and his expression grew even more hostile.
But she acted like she didn’t notice. After that, she casually took out her phone and ordered food for him, then said, “I’m going to return Jayden’s slingshot.
“Also, Anthony invited me to join them for dinner just now–I can’t exactly turn him down. But don’t worry, I’ll bring the first aid kit and your food back
when I come.”

Chapter 11
Theodore turned his face away and said coldly, “Whatever you do is your business. No need to report to me.”
“Fine.” Eliana had no hope that he’d ever show her a shred of kindness. She picked up Jayden’s slingshot and walked out.
The moment she left, Theodore lifted the hand resting on his knee, wanting to tear the bandage off. But for some reason, he didn’t move for a long time
Just as Eliana left the room and stepped into the hallway on the second floor, she ran into Wyatt. She braced herself and asked him about the first aid kit. Wyatt gave her a cool glance and said, “Mrs. Eliana Russell, if you want anything from me, you’ll need permission from Mrs. Lainey Russell first”
