“Pierce! Put me down!” Arianna shouted as she was being tossed over his shoulder.

“You’re definitely going to like this one. Close your eyes.”
Arianna screwed her eyes closed and giggled when Pierce began to kiss her tiny wrists. Her eyes snapped open once she felt her wrists being tied together.

“No, ma’am. You’re not going to finish for tonight, and you have nobody to blame but yourself. Go to sleep. You have a busy day tomorrow,” Pierce said, picking Arianna up and putting her under the comforter.

“Night, night,” Pierce responded, turning off the light and shutting the door.
“You did what, for your first date?” Patrick asked, cursing lowly under his breath after he sliced the ball.
“I thought you’ve been working on that?” Pierce teased. “You probably should sign up for lessons.”
“I don’t need lessons. I’m just having a bad day,” Patrick snapped.

“You should reconsider. The lessons are included in your Diamond membership,” Pierce reminded him, placing his golf ball on the tee. “We went and ate crab legs. Well, it’s more like she ate the entire menu and then some.”
“She can eat?”
“That little girl can put it down,” Pierce chuckled. “But I don’t mind. Afterward, I took her to an exclusive furniture and design warehouse and let her run wild. Now, she’s redecorating one of my guest rooms.”
“Didn’t you just have your house completely redecorated after Stella moved out? In fact, didn’t you hire a bigshot to do it?”
“I did. Arianna had dreams of going to college to pursue a career in interior design, and I wanted her to get a little taste of what she could look forward to. She kicked me out of the house so that the furniture could be delivered, and now I’m here.”
“Wow…can I date you?”
“Unfortunately for you, I don’t swing that way, and I most definitely would be a top.”
“It’s all good. Plus, I wouldn’t want to get my eyes scratched out by Arianna.”

“Welcome back! Are you ready to see the room?” Arianna greeted Pierce cheerfully, pulling him up the stairs.
“You seem to be in a better mood. You’re no longer mad about last night, right?”
“Water under the bridge,” she confirmed, stopping outside the guest bedroom.
“Are you ready?!”
“I am. I’m on pins and needles here.”
