Chapter 24
Back when Savannah went bankrupt, it was Tessa who first stepped forward, offering to cove
his final year of university.
As the tuition deadline loomed, temptation won. He gave in and accepted her help.
During that time, Tessa bombarded him with suggestive messages, all of which he coldly ignored.
Until one night at a party, after too many drinks, the line between rejection and desire blurred. They crossed it and everything changed.
He couldn’t deny that her body had stirred his senses and he had failed to resist, giving in to his impulses.
Still, he made it clear, again and again, he only craved her physically. Nothing more.
As time passed, watching Savannah struggle, he began to imagine himself as her savior.
But then, one day, she vanished.
She blocked all his contact and cut him off completely; no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t
find her.
Tobias felt like he was losing his mind. He couldn’t understand how she could walk away so easily. Hadn’t the past few years meant anything to her?
Bitterness crept in. So when he finally found success, the very first thing he did was pull every string to track her down, pay off her debts and tie her to his side by any means.
It was around that time Tessa proposed the revenge plan. And under the weight of pride, resentment and confusion, he agreed.
Throughout the plan, Savannah’s quiet compliance fooled him and made him believe she still needed him.
But now, because of that very plan, Savannah had married another man.
Hatred churned in his chest and the rage burning inside Tobias grew more violent by the second, making his breaths come sharp and uneven.
Without a second thought, he stormed out of the private room and charged toward Tessa’s house, slamming her door open with a vicious kick.
Tessa, startled by the sudden noise, flinched in alarm. When she saw it was Tobias, she quickly
softened her voice.
“Tobias, why are you here?”
She forced a smile, trying to compose herself. “Did you think it through and come back to make up with me?”
But Tobias’s expression remained grim and cold.
Seeing Tobias’s grim expression, Tessa’s face changed and as she stood up, her hand trembled, accidentally dropping her phone onto the floor.
The open chat record page lay exposed between them.
Both looked down at the same time and Tobias instantly saw the familiar profile picture at the

top of the chat.
Tessa’s heart skipped a beat. She quickly bent down to grab it, but Tobias was faster. He snatched the phone and opened the chat with Savannah.
In an instant, explicit photos and videos filled the screen before his eyes.
Even on the eve of the wedding, after Savannah had agreed to the proposal, Tessa still didn’t stop provoking her.
[Tomorrow, he and I will be married, but tonight, he still couldn’t resist pulling me into bed. Just how obsessed do you think he is with my body?]
[If you have any dignity, you should leave him. He doesn’t love you.]
For the first time, Savannah replied.
[I will leave. Congratulations on your marriage.]
Just that one sentence made the veins on Tobias’s forehead bulge with fury.
As he read every message from start to finish, the blood in his body surged with violent intensity.
He couldn’t begin to imagine how Savannah must have felt reading those messages or what kind of heartbreak she carried when typing her final reply.
His teeth clenched and he turned to glare at Tessa, his entire body radiating a deadly coldness.
“Sabotaging Savannah’s company, manipulating me into carrying out your revenge scheme and provoking her behind my back…”
“Tessa, how dare you?!”
