In just a day’s time, all the servants at the Byrd residence were changed. Those who had treated me with scorn were all fired and replaced with new people.
At the jewelry store, I looked at myself in the mirror. The jewelry I was wearing glittered.
Just the set I was wearing alone cost 100 million. The diamond on my necklace was a pink diamond, which was the most rare type. I looked closely at the wound on my face, which was almost fully healed.
In my past life, when I had married Ashton, he had never even given me any jewelry.
“You really will stop at nothing to get into the Byrd family, will you? How could you even bear to undress for an old man?”

Ashton paused. “You… Don’t think for a minute that you can relax just because you’re going to marry my dad!
“He’ll be killed two years from now, and he can’t impregnate anyone at all! You’ll still end up begging me!”
I scoffed. “Take care of your own business. Goodbye.”
In my past life, I had gotten pregnant with Ashton’s children in just one go because I was highly fertile. However, he had only lasted two minutes that time.
When I asked a doctor, I found out that he was impotent! I had no idea why Jane was so gleeful!

Ashton kicked the wall and turned to leave. When I saw the mark he had left on the wall, I rolled my eyes scornfully.

Jane took his arm and tried to go out.
“Let go!”
Ashton reached out and grabbed her hair. “Get out of here!”
He flung her down hard on the floor.
I curled my lip and looked through the crack in the door, which was ajar. Jane had clearly hit a sore spot with Ashton.
The Byrds had only had one child in each generation for three generations consecutively. Only those who had a child could get their hands on the Byrds‘ core properties.
Now, Ashton had no real authority at all. A few days passed by very quickly. Just as I had expected, Ashton had been with several women and was still looking.
Naturally, Jane had to be informed. I told the servants to send her a folder of all the photos and videos that had been taken. As I had expected, Jane soon went to see Ashton.
Ashton was drinking with his friends when she lunged at him, crying. “Ashton! How dare you sleep with other people behind my back? I can’t believe you cheated!”
Ashton shot to his feet. “Get out of here!”
The waiter saw his expression and immediately went up to restrain Jane.

“Ashton, the doctor says that you have low sperm motility! Even if you find 100 women, you won’t be able to have children!”
Silence, fell around them, and Ashton was at the center of it all. When I watched the videos that I had asked for, I couldn’t help but feel amused.
Ashton looked thunderous as he looked at Jane, who was beside him. “You’re just one of them! How dare you come here and make a fuss about it? Get lost!”
Jane stiffened, and she looked at the people around her. There was a slight hint of regret in her expression.
Tears suddenly streamed down her face. “Ashton, I was too scared of losing you. Don’t be angry.”
Ashton’s expression remained cold. In my past life, I had known that he was unfaithful, but I had never argued with him over it. I would also never have done what Jane did and called him impotent in front of all his friends.
