Vicky POV
My father, Danny Fox, was the Alpha of the shifter foxes. Our population was dwindling, and we needed resources and means to conserve ourselves.
Twenty years ago, under his leadership, the foxes formed gangs and attacked the werewolf packs in numbers. They pillaged the packs, leaving the packs razed to the ground. In the process of plundering, we amassed a lot of wealth.
Eventually, the werewolves grew fed up and, under the leadership of Alpha Martin, the leader of the Oak Pride pack, they planned a calculated strategy and launched an attack on us. They subdued us and forced us to retreat deep into the jungles. We all ran for our lives, leaving the looted wealth behind. The situation deteriorated to the point where going outside meant risking an attack from wolves, resulting in deaths.
Survival was difficult in the deep jungles. My father had been burning in his need for revenge. Every day he would think of one thing only–how to defeat Alpha Martin and take over his pack and wealth, and regain his dignity.
Since we were poor, we didn’t know how to go about it. However, an opportunity arose when my father chanced upon the witches of Infinity coven. Those witches had gone rogue and were running away from Queen Ketari. Danny gave them refuge on the condition that they would help him usurp the Oak Pride pack. However, the witches were clever. They struck the deal with him, but demanded money in exchange.
It was the witches who did the groundwork. They came to know that Venus was Patrick’s daughter, and she was in love with Aaron. Since Patrick was the richest wolf in the Oak Pride pack, the witches set us up with him. It was like killing two birds with a stone.
My mother focused on Patrick, taking his attention away from Venus. And that made it easier for me to manipulate Venus. Everything was going on so well until that bastard Martin decided to marry Aaron with Venus. The marriage brought our plans to a standstill.
The foxes were growing restless and so were the witches. Everything depended on me and mom.
After using the eye drops, I was extremely confident that Aaron could never get out of my clutches, but I don’t know why the fuck did he go after Venus to the hockey match?
Mom had taken Patrick to cast the usual spell on him to keep him under the illusion that he loved her, but she faltered. The spell was cast, but he went missing. In panic, she reported it to Luna Marie, which was a colossal mistake. Because Venus found him and she also saw the witch circle. Now the wolves were on high alert.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Danny lost his temper at both of us, which was justified. He had high expectations of me, and I didn’t want to disappoint him. As for my mom, I was seriously disgusted by her. She lied to father. She deserved the beating from him. How could she report it to Luna Marie? Stupid fox.
After Danny forced three eyedrops into each of my eyes, my eyes hurt for the entire night. There were side effects of pouring so many magical drops into the eyes. I could lose my eyesight.
But once the pain subsided, my body hummed with magic, New confidence built up inside me. I knew Aaron wouldn’t be able to resist me, even if that meant he would go against all the wolves in his pack. But I also knew that his parents loved him a lot. They would eventually force Venus to quit as the future Luna of the pack, and Aaron would marry me.
Since mom was seriously injured by Danny, it was better she stayed at home. So when Venus said that Patrick would stay with her in Alpha’s manor, it came as a blessing in disguise. Mom would get time to heal. Layers of makeup could be used to cover up the remaining superficial injuries.
I applied red slutty lipstick on my lips and stared at my reflection in the mirror. Since I was going to meet Aaron, I wore a sexy red dress that clung to my curves. The deep neckline was the highlight of the dress because it showed my cleavage abundantly. Adjusting my boobs, I smirked. There was no way Aaron could ignore me. I was going to drag him into a room and have sex with him, which was the next stage of my plan.
I checked on mom. She was sleeping in her room. Closing the door, I walked to the kitchen from where I picked up the box of cookies and then drove to Alpha’s manor.
It was early in the morning. The place was silent. As I walked to Patrick’s room, I noticed Aaron was sleeping on a couch in the main hall,

“Aaron!” I said excitedly. Why wasn’t he with Venus? I sat next to him on the couch. He got up with a jerk, staring at me in surprise.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, his pupils dilating.
The magic was working. Excitement bubbled in my chest. I was sure that in less than half an hour, he would be under my control,
I took a deep breath in, making sure that my boobs jiggled a bit. “I came to meet Patrick.” Opening my legs, I made sure that he noticed I wasn’t wearing panties. “But why are you sleeping here?”
His Adam’s apple bobbed when his eyes went to my inner thighs. “Ve–Venus is asking for divorce. She is angry with me…”
“What?” My eyes widened in surprise. Venus had asked for a divorce? I couldn’t believe that it was finally happening. “Oh, my goddess!” I said. I had to take advantage of the situation immediately. Leaning forward, I placed my hand on his thigh. “I’m so sorry, Aaron. How could Venus be so cruel? She should’ve thought about our parents, at least.”
Aaron held my hand in his as his eyes remained glued to my thighs. His breath was shallow. I parted them more, making my dress go up. Carefully, I took his hand and placed it on my thigh. He asked breathily, “Aren’t you happy that she is asking for a divorce?”
“Of course I am,” I replied, taking his hand further up. “It would be foolish of me not to say that I don’t feel happy about it. I’ve pined for you always. You are my mate.”
“Aaron!” Alpha Martin’s voice boomed in the room. Aaron quickly pulled his hand away.
