Chapter 11
Pierce gave himself a pep talk while he waited for Arlanna to join him. According to his watch, she was five minutes late, and he wondered if the hal changed her mind.
“I’m so sorry I’m late. Pierce. I was handling a situation,” Arianna apologized quickly as she entered the room.
“Situation? Care to expound?”
“It was a petty disagreement between two members about whose teacup dog was cuter.”
“And what did you say?”
“It was a choice between a Teacup Pomeranian and a Teacup Chihuahua. I simply told them that I was a cat person and couldn’t decide.”
“Smart girl. Do you have a cat?”
“I do. His name is Legs.”
“What kind of name is Legs?”
“It’s an oxymoron because he’s a Munchkin cat. He’s literally all ankles,” she said, giggling at the joke.
“Interesting…perhaps one day I’ll meet your cat.”
“Perhaps. I’m disappointed, Pierce.”
He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
“Disappointed? By what?”
“You’re not ready for me, Pierce. You’re still fully clothed.”
“As an apology for being late, you should assist,” he suggested.
“I could; however, I already had an apology gift in store for you. Choose wisely, Pierce. Do you want my assistance with undressing you, or do you want what’s behind Door #2?”
“Door #2,” he quickly agreed, kicking his shoes off.
“Good choice. I’ll turn around while you undress.”
“I don’t mind you looking. I don’t have anything to hide,” Pierce insisted, removing his shirt.
“I think I’m feeling lemon and vanilla today. How does that sound, Pierce?” she asked, starting the aromatherapy candles.
“I’m not picky. Whatever you think is best,” he agreed, finally stripped down to his boxer briefs.
“Are you covered?” she questioned.
“Unfortunately.”
“You ready for Door #2?”
“Yeah, like yesterday.”
Arianna turned around, and Pierce’s eyes widened when she began to reach for the zipper on the back of her dress.

chapter 11
“Usually, I would change into something else to avoid getting oil on my clothes, but I was a little pressed for time and didn’t want to pump pod any longer.
The dress pooled at Arianna’s feet, and Pierce instantly hardened at the sight of her red lacy lingerie set. “You set me up,” he accused,
“What are you talking about?” she asked innocently.
“You planned all this with the lingerie and shit.”
“Nonsense. Don’t you know that women love dressing like this for themselves? Not everything we do is for the pleasure of men. I need you to roll over on your stomach…if you can,” she giggled.
Arianna could see Pierce’s prominent hard on peeking at her from underneath the sheet, and she’d be lying if she said her panties didn’t moisten a little.
“Don’t you want to feel me on you?” she asked in a pathetic tone.
“Yes.”
“Then roll over so we can get started.”
Pierce took his time complying. He wanted to commit every piece of her to memory, and if the lights weren’t so dim, he would have been able to make out her nipples through the lace material.
“Wonderful, let’s get started. Tell me about yourself, Pierce. And don’t give me that, “there’s nothing to tell” bullshit either,” Arianna warned, adjusting
the sheet over Pierce.
Pierce thought long and hard about what he could tell her. He wanted to impress, Arianna, but he really wasn’t that interesting of a person. He jumped
when he felt the warm sensation of the oil on the back of his calf.
“Um, let’s see. Both of my parents are deceased. I actually lost them in the same year a
“I’m so sorry to hear that,” Arianna said, working the oil into Pierce’s skin.
few
years back.”
“Don’t be. They were both terrible smokers. Dad died from lung cancer, and Mom followed right behind him with COPD and Emphysema. I’m convinced they didn’t want to live. Once the doctor told them to quit smoking, they came to terms with the fact that it was too late anyway and continued to live their life as they saw fit. I was an only child. I was the textbook definition of spoiled growing up. Everything I wanted, I got, and didn’t have to work hard for it. My parents were pretty well off due to oil found on a couple of parcels of land they owned. I still receive residuals from that, believe it or not.”
Arianna switched to the other calf.
“Hmmm, I played baseball and ran track in high school and college. I have degrees in accounting, economics, and business, and I recently retired as an investment banker.”
“I did see that in your portfolio. Any kids?”
“Unfortunately not. I didn’t find out until a little later in my marriage that my ex–wife didn’t see herself being a mother.”
“Y’all didn’t have that conversation before y’all married?”
“Oh, we did. And she made it seem like she was all for it, and then she switched up on me.”
“You didn’t consider adoption?”
“I brought it up, but that all falls back on her not wanting the responsibility of motherhood, whether biological or adopted.”
“That’s rough. I’m sorry that didn’t pan out for you,” Arianna sympathetically said.
“It is what it is.”

Chapter 11
“What do you like doing for fun?”
“Up until recently, all I really did was work. If Patrick hadn’t introduced me to the club, then I would probably be at home watching bad television right
now.”
“I may not know a lot about life right now,” Arianna said, trailing her hands to his muscled thighs. “But I think retirement is supposed to be your second chance at life, and you can’t let that opportunity pass you by. You’ve worked most of your adult life, and now you need to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You should pick up a hobby, whether it’s gardening, fishing, or something else. Hell, if you enjoy working so much, you can get another job, but perhaps doing something more laid back. Maybe you should try volunteering and give back. That’s a way better use of your time than sitting at home watching Maury.”
“I said bad television. Maury is a daytime treasure,” Pierce argued.
“I’ll take your word for it. Back to the volunteering, you can serve at soup kitchens, deliver meals for Meals on Wheels, or play with pups all day at the
local animal shelters.”
Pierce liked the idea of volunteering every once in a while. He was always too busy to give back to the community. In their circle, giving back was hosting charity events where the attendees showed up for the glitz and glamour. They wrote sizeable checks for an amount they were never going to notice was missing. Pierce wrote several of these checks over the years, and to be honest, did anyone know if the money donated actually made it to the organizations? Or was the money pocketed by the event organizers?
“I’ll take that into consideration. Do you volunteer?”
“I used to when I was in high school.”
“Alright, so yesterday. Gotcha.”
Pierce tensed at the swift pop on his ass.
“Behave,” Arianna lowly warned.
Pierce wasn’t perturbed, and Arianna better watch out because he almost told her thank you and was about to ask for another. Pierce’s mind flitted back to his dominatrix fantasy when he thought there was a sex dungeon in the club’s basement. His erection had just gone away, and now it was back in full
force.
“I apologize,” Pierce said after clearing his throat.
“I used to volunteer at a nursing home. I meant to get back there to check on some ailing patients, but my part–time job soon turned into a full–time job with copious amounts of overtime. It seems like almost every time I have a day off something happens and they’re asking me to come in.”
“That’s easy. Stop coming in on your days off.”
“You do know that the day we met was my off day, right?”
“I wasn’t aware. I’m glad you did come in. But why do you work so much?”
“Long story short, my parents gambled away my college fund, and I didn’t find out until the week before I was supposed to move out and into my dorm. I basically had to push pause on my dreams. I’m working to save money for school. I make a very decent wage here considering that I only have a high school education, and the tips and bonuses can’t be beaten.”
“That’s understandable. How are things between you and your parents?”
Arianna climbed onto the table and threw her leg over Pierce so that she could straddle his back. Meanwhile, Pierce was underneath Arianna, freaking out. She leaned over to whisper into his ear, and he could feel her hardened nipples pressed into his back.
“Is this okay?” Arianna whispered.
“Y–yeah, this is…perfect.”
