Chapter 10
Olivia ignored Dylan and lowered her head to keep eating,
Dylan walked up with a grim face and yanked her wrist hard, his voice sharp. “Answer me. Who was that guy you were with tonight?”
Olivia twisted her wrist and pulled it back with ease. “Who I was with has nothing to do with you. Mind your own business.”
Dylan’s face darkened with rage. “Do you have no decency at all? The second you landed in a foreign country, the first thing you did was shack up with some random guy?
“If I hadn’t called the cops in time, would you have already cheated on me?”
Olivia glanced at him blandly. “So what? What would you call decency then? Me quietly going along with your plan, letting you send a different guy to sleep with me every day–is that what counts as decency to you?”
Dylan pursed his lips tightly. His face turned pale for a second, then flushed red with fury.
Olivia scoffed, “Don’t act like I did something horrible to you. Let’s get one thing straight–it was your idea for me to go find a man.

“Even if you hadn’t said that, I still wouldn’t owe you anything if I did. You’ve been cheating on me for three years. If I return the favor now, it’s just Fair game.”
She paused, then added with a half–smile, “Why are you suddenly freaking out about me being with another guy? Don’t tell me you’ve actually fallen in love with me.”
Dylan said with disgust, “Don’t flatter yourself. Chloe’s the only woman I’ve ever loved. I would never fall for you.”
Olivia asked, “Then why did it piss you off so much when you found out I was with another man?”
Dylan’s eyes shifted. He quickly came up with a reason. “I’m here to make you apologize to Chloe and her friend. You picked on Chloe. Until you make it right, don’t even think about having fun out there.”
Even he started to believe it. He told himself the reason he got so angry when he found out Olivia had actually gone to see another man was because Chloe was still upset, and Olivia didn’t deserve to enjoy anything yet.
Olivia let out a cold laugh. “When did I ever upset Chloe? And as for her friend, she started it. I defended myself. Why should I be the one to apologize?“,
Dylan said, “Chloe’s sad because of you. That’s all your fault. Kaitlyn is her friend. Hitting her is disrespecting Chloe, which means you’re humiliating Chloe. So yes, you need to apologize.
“I know you’ve always been sharp with words, but I’m not here to argue with you. I’m ordering you. You’re coming back to the bar with me right now to apologize to Chloe. Whatever she tells you to do, you do it, until she’s satisfied.”
Olivia rolled her eyes. “Not going. Chloe’s your precious little darling. If you want to pamper her, go do it yourself. I have no obligation to help you
coax her.
Dylan stared at her coldly. If you don’t apologize, starting next month I’m stopping the interest payments on the Kaur family’s bank debt. Think it over before you answer.”
He was sure she’d give in. After saying that, he turned and walked out.
Olivia clenched her fists, her expression stormy. Dylan knew exactly where to hit her. He was using the Kaur family to threaten her.
She took a deep breath, forced down her emotions, and stood up to follow.
Hearing the footsteps behind him, Dylan sneered with contempt and thought, ‘She’s still the same as ever. She’d sell her own soul if the price was right.
The two of them stayed silent on the way back. When they returned to the private room at the bar, Olivia saw Chloe sitting on the couch surrounded by others, her eyes red and swollen like she’d just been crying.
The moment she saw Dylan and Olivia walk in, Chloe lowered her gaze with a look of sorrow, and tears began to fall again.
