Chapter53
The words “inhuman” drifted into Reece’s ears on the wind.
He frowned.
Without saying another word, he walked straight past James and Julissa.
Left a cold sentence before leaving completely.
“Worked.”
This was not Julissa’s first time coming to the mine. When she was a child, she often followed her mother to the nearby hills to pick up stones. But at that time, they had no fame or profit, and could only find stones in some unclaimed hills. The stones they found were mostly unwanted or cut open with large cracks, worthless.
So she went to the mine, her experience no worse than those old workers.
“This is it.”
The foreman’s voice pulled Julissa back from her memories, and they had reached the vicinity of the large rock. Almost everyone was amazed by this rock.
Jade does not like water, so it is rare for jadeite to be found in its natural state stuck in mountain streams.
The two big mountains on both sides, with a rectangular prism–shaped stone in the middle, and below is a flowing river.
The sunlight shone on the river surface, causing a shimmering light to appear, and the gloss just happened to shine in the middle of the
stones
But this luster was not absorbed by the stone, but penetrated through the bottom of the stone and rose from the middle. The originally dim shell now showed the patterns of internal hydration.
This stone not only had a unique but
color. had a volume several
times larger than ordinary stones, weighing at least several tons. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is invaluable.
Even the usually proud Cristina couldn’t help but be stunned when she saw this stone.
“Mr. Diaz, this stone is too heavy. The soil underneath is loose due to long–term exposure to water. If a decision is not made promptly, the soil underneath will be washed away, causing the stone to fall into the ravine and potentially resulting in immeasurable losses.”
The foreman in charge of the mining operation walked over.
His forehead was covered in sweat stains, clearly very anxious, but when facing Reece, he still stuttered a bit due to nervousness.
If it weren’t for this unexpected event, with his identity, he probably wouldn’t have seen Reece’s true face in his whole life.
Reece frowned.
Cristina took the initiative to speak in order to demonstrate her abilities.
“Get a crane over here and just grab the stones from above, isn’t that enough?” Cristina felt confident: “It’s just one ton of stones, the crane can easily grab it.”

The worker was a little hesitant, he recognized Cristina, a high–rank m executive within the Diaz Group, as Reece’s fiancee.
But what she said… sounded so stupid that it didn’t seem like something a seasoned professional would say…
The workers did not dare to argue, but Julissa did not give in at all
“People said that the soil under that stone was loose, it wouldn’t hold up immediately. If you lift the heavy machine up there now, won’t the stone and the machine fall down together?”
When this was said. Cristina realized that she wanted to show off, but ended up making a fool of herself.
Cristina looked terrible.
Reece frowned, his voice cold and sharp.
“What is the current plan?”
The worker picked up a sketch from the table next to him and said, “The current feasible solution is to cut the four corners of this rock into four pieces and pull them away from four directions. This way, the force is evenly distributed and it is less likely to cause a landslide.”
At first glance, this was already the best solution.
But Julissa hesitated a little.
“If we do this, won’t we be abandoning the bottommost part of the stone?”
The four corners of a prism, only taking away the top four corners, the part buried in the ground below is equivalent to being abandoned.

The worker folded up the drawings and nodded.
“The following section is buried in the soil, and the soil cannot withstand the passage of vehicles at all. If manually excavated, the risk is too great.”
“And our people had already gone up to check once, and the water in the stone did not extend into the stones in the soil, so abandoning it did not have much impact.”
Julissa did not quite agree with this statement.
“This kind of stone, if not for the clear water in the soil, the light under the river would not be able to refract into it at all.”
“This…”
The foreman was a bit embarrassed.
“The stone was somewhat pyramidal in shape, possibly not even passing through the bottom, with light shining in from the side.”
Julissa was very determined.
