Chapter47
Julissa could not care less about Reece, but she could not help but care about her grandfather.
Over the past three years, Grandpa treated her as his own.
She lost her mother at a young age and never experienced her father’s love, so when Dillan bat her hand and served her favorite dishes, she
felt happy.
Only at grandpa’s place, there is a taste of home.
Julissa couldn’t help but clench her fists, she only thought about getting back at Cristina and Reece, but forgot to pay attention to her grandfather’s feelings.
Dillan had experienced countless cunning people in his life, so how could he not see through what these three people were thinking now.
He knew what his grandson would do.
That Cristina was no good, he could see that clearly.
It was just hard on Julie, being caught in the middle of these two people was already painful enough, now she had to take care of this old man’s feelings.
Thinking of this, Dillan couldn’t help but let out a deep sigh.
He slowly got up and walked over to Julissa. He gently held her hand in his palm.
“I’m sorry, grandpa hurt you.”

Julissa shook her head and smiled sincerely, “It’s okay, Grandpa. Don’t worry about me. your health is more important.”
The past, Dillan was already powerless to change, now all he can do is to compensate Julissa well.
“Grandpa, I’m sorry.” Dillan’s forehead creased a little more: “I shouldn’t have insisted on Reece marrying you in the first place.”
“He is not worthy of you.”
Julissa smiled.
“Grandpa, it was my willingness at that time.”
Upon hearing this sentence, a hint of hesitation couldn’t help but surface in Reece’s eyes.
When Julissa married him, she was indeed full of joy, and the light in her eyes could not be blocked.
Just now…
In just three years, this woman had changed like this.
“Julie,” Dillan continued, “I will have someone follow up on the divorce proceedings with Reece. If he ever pressures you to do something you don’t want to do again, come to me.”
When Reece heard that his grandfather was going to intervene in their divorce, a faint and barely noticeable dimness flashed in his eyes.
Dillan has also come to realize that Julissa is already dead inside towards Reece, continuing to force them to be together will only cause suffering for Julissa.
“The Diaz Group’s shares will be divided among you, enough to ensure

you a worry–free life in your later years.”
Upon hearing this sentence, Cristina felt a sinking feeling in her heart.
She followed Reece for so many years, she couldn’t even enter the house.
Is it just that easy to give Julissa shares now?
Why!
She looked at Reece, hoping he would object.
Reece seemed to be thinking about something else at the moment, with a deep and complex look in his eyes, hiding emotions that Cristina couldn’t understand.

“Grandpa, I can’t accept this share.” Julissa said moved, “You have been so good to me in these three years, I am very satisfied.”
Dillan, however, was very persistent.
“Grandpa could only do this much. Just think of it as Grandpa not wanting to part with you, wanting to use shares to keep you tied to him, so you can still think of me often.”
Julissa smiled.
“Grandpa, even without shares, I will still come back to see you often.”
“I made the decision on this matter.” Dillan’s tone was unquestionable. “If you don’t listen to me, don’t call me grandpa in the future.”
After speaking, Dillan turned to look at Cristina again, and the originally gentle and doting look in his eyes instantly turned cold.
“Why haven’t you left yet?”

Cristina stood there nwkward and embarrassed.
She came today to see how Julissa would be turned into a mourning dog and kicked out, but now, it is she who has been kicked out.
“I didn’t want to see her.”
Dillan spoke, and security personnel entered the room, making a polite “please” gesture towards Cristina.
Reece was about to say something when he was cut off by Dillan’s forceful words.
“You are so disobedient, tonight you will kneel in the living room and reflect on your behavior!”
With that, he took Julissa upstairs.
“Courtney, bring Dr. Hahn over to give Julie her medication.”
“Okay, grandpa.”
Dr. Hahn, I don’t know where he came from, gave Julissa some medicine, and soon her swollen hand went down.
Even the pain had diminished a lot.
Julissa sat in the bedroom, feeling nostalgic, with Courtney sitting beside her.
“Isn’t it amazing how the pain is gone immediately?”
Julissa nodded vigorously.
“Dr. Hahn’s medical skills, there is no second in the world.”
Courtney gave a few more instructions, telling Julissa to take her medicine on time, and then she left.
