I said, “Mr. Harris, I can’t compete with you. I’m powerless when it comes to Ryan’s ed ucation. You should find another
tutor.”
I turned to pull open the door and leave, but saw an arm reach past my ear and slam the door shut.

around abruptly, meeting Gavin’s face as he leaned in
He pressed his lips to mine, his burning breath instantly flooding my mouth.
I widened my eyes, struggling and pushing against him with all my strength, but he only held me tighter in his arms.
The two forces wrestled until the metallic taste of blood filled
the air, and Gavin finally released me.
I pushed him away, gasping heavily, then looked up at Gavin with hatred burning in my eyes.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, seeming somewhat calmer, but when he raised his gaze again, it frightened me even more.
He grabbed my face again, stroking my cheek with his thumb.

His hand traveled downward, from my eyes to my ears, finally stopping at my swollen lips, roughly forcing his way inside.
He said, “I heard you’re graduating in half a semester. This school must be pretty hard to get into, right?”
Feeling his fingers invading my mouth so brazenly, I bit down hard.
I asked, “What do you mean?”
The pain at his fingertips made Gavin frown. “You’re so disobedient. Maybe tomorrow morning, there’ll be an
investigation letter sitting on your principal’s desk. What do you think the principal would do with a student caught voyeurism and taking unauthorized photos?”
I stared at him in disbelief. “You!”
Gavin’s voice was ice–cold yet tinged with seduction as he cupped my face, staring straight into my eyes. “Tell me, will you be a good girl and obey?”
I stared into his eyes, my heart pounding wildly.
He wasn’t joking. If I dared refuse now, he would truly destroy
- me.
After a long moment, I finally said through gritted teeth, “I will.”

“Good girl.” Gavin released me with satisfaction, then patted my head.
I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he would finally let me go.
However, the next second my waist was suddenly gripped tight, and Gavin lifted me up, striding out of the study.
I struggled in panic. “Put me down!”
“Do you want to wake up Juliette and Ryan too?” His voice was low and calm.
My body instantly stiffened, not daring to move anymore. I let Gavin carry me into the master bedroom, and as the door gently closed behind us, I was slowly placed on the bed.
Outside the window, torrential rain pounded frantically against the glass, thunder and lightning intertwining as the entire room flickered between light and shadow.
In this chaotic atmosphere, barely audible gasps could be heard from within the bedroom.
It wasn’t until the storm gradually subsided and moonlight finally emerged from behind the heavy clouds, flooding the room, that things quieted.
Gavin held me tightly trapped in his arms, kissing my cheek like savoring a delicacy.

I coldly avoided his hands, staring blankly at the chaos scattered across the floor.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my earlobe.
Gavin’s hoarse voice whispered against my ear, “What are you thinking about?”
“I’m thinking about calling the police,” I replied coldly.
The arm around my waist suddenly tightened, nearly cutting off my ability to breathe.
“Seems you’re still not obedient enough,” he said in a low voice. “That’s okay, I’ll teach you slowly.”
Outside the window, fierce winds howled once again, and the rain that had just calmed began pouring down torrentially, as if echoing the tension and oppression within the room.
