Before Alexander could take another step, the voice inside the room broke the atmosphere.
“Steph…” a girl’s voice murmured, nervously. “You… you shouldn’t say such cruel things. It’s no good for the baby.”
Stephanie burst out laughing.
“Oh please, Lola! Are you really that dense?” she scoffed. “There is no baby. I only faked the pregnancy to trap Alexander so that eh would marry me and make me the Hamilton Buisness Empire’s madam.”
Outside, Alexander went still, the words of his mother now echoing in his mind.
The world around him spun as he was proved to be a big fool.
There was no baby in her womb, instead Lavina was pregnant and miscarried because of him.
There was no accident, no love…only lies that she fed him.
The next second, the door slammed open with a deafening crack.
Stephanie barely had time to scream before Alexander stormed after kicking the door so hard that it snapped from its hinges
“A–Alexander?” she stammered, her voice shifting into a soft, trembling pitch. “What are you doing here? You…You scared me…do you know what happened today….a man tried to kill me today….I–I ran to save myself!”
“I–I didn’t stood our wedding Alex! Please….don’t believe any of that jealous talks media is spewing?” Her lips quivered for the effect. “I love you and I was scared of losing our child so I ran
here.”
Alexander didn’t say a word, his silence a scream louder than any words. His eyes never left hers as it burned through the lies.
“Darling…please don’t be like this. You have been under so much stress lately so lets postpone our marriage okay?”
“I will not let you die a good death you fucking bitch!” Before she could understand, Alexander grabbed a fistful of her hair, dragging her through the spa.
“W–What are you doing Alex?!” she shrieked, scrambling to cover her naked body only wrapped with a towel as pain erupted all over her scalp, her so called ‘friends‘ watched her and yet none dared to intervene.
“You dirty whore, you dare mock my wife?!” Alexander’s voice was raw, laced with hatred and rage. “You locked my woman in a freezing storage room while she was pregnant, you goddamn monster!”
“Alexander stop! Stop!” Hairstrands ripped out of her scalp as Stephanie struggled partially naked with tears streaming down her face, but Alexander’s only smiled….such a terrifying smile that it made her try to run away.
He dragged her out of the luxury suite, through the grand spa hallway, past horrified onlookers and stunned guests. Phones came out instantly recording the chaos and soon reporters surrounded the arena recording Stephanie’s shame.

“Isn’t that oh my god, it’s Alexander Hamilton! The heir who just got disowned and that girl..his wife–to–be for whom he left everything?!”
“Didn’t you hear, she stood the wedding when she realized that he is now just a broke?”
“Still this is too excessive.”
“Alexander! Stop! Think about the baby-”
CRACK.
A harsh slap on her face made her stumbled back, clutching her face, stunned beyond words as Alexander did not show any mercy and kicked her stomach hard.
“Baby? A slut like you who aborted her baby so many times can never carry my child!”
Everything was recorded and the people watched like a great drama was unfolding.
Stephanie looked around and realised everything was over for her.
And suddenly, she laughed mockingly.
“No matter how much of your anger you take out on me but the truth is that Lavina is gone!” Stephanie said louder now, turning to face the cameras. “The woman you’re losing your mind for….your beloved Lavina, made a deal with my parents after discovering that you cheated on her and was the reason of her miscarriage two years ago.
She said that she will gave up everything and agreed to marry Damien Stone just to fulfil the promise between our families but mostly because she lost you to me….she agreed to marry that sickly heir but left the Winslet family completely!”
Alexander’s stomach dropped.
“She’s already in another man’s arms…” Stephanie added with a venomous grin. “While you are here playing the heartbroken fool…punishing the ‘villianess‘… the truth is that it was your greed and broke your family apart!”
Alexander stood frozen, devastation surging through his entire body as his mind barely registered the words.
His Lavina agreeing to marry another man….impossible!
