A tall, imposing figure leaned against the vehicle, smoking a cigarette.

Those eyes immediately focused on the man’s jacket she was wearing, and Kane’s expression grew cold.

Seraphina was no longer at the hospital at this hour, so who could he be waiting for?
Was he actually waiting for her
When that thought crossed Aria’s mind, she immediately dismissed it as absurd. Why would Kane wait for her?
