- A Condition
“If someone expects me to pity him just because he lost his d**k, then they are expecting it from the wrong person,” she snidely stated, starting to eat the fish.
Keshton never expected to hear something like this from a woman. She had turned out to be someone that hadn’t liked Edwin for his d**k or the pleasure he could give her. She loved him wholeheartedly, and for some reason this realization frustrated Keshton. “Claiming only seventy–five percent of his wealth and assets instead of finishing him off is nothing but pity.”
“What would I gain from his death?” Sibyl murmured, her fingers playing with a small piece of fish. “Will I gain satisfaction? Will anything change? No, right? His death will bring me nothing but another unnecessary stain
on my name. Those memories that I have with him and the deeds he did to me, will always stay with me until
my last breath. His death would bring me nothing. So tell me, why would I want something as worthless as his life, instead of something of actual value?” She took another juicy bite and looked at Keshton. “Taking 75% of Edwin’s wealth is nothing short of a death sentence for him because that 75% is actually his pack. The Lunar Moon Pack will collapse in every way when this news gets out. His destruction has just started. Death would be too merciful an end for him. This is my revenge- and end where he has to suffer for the rest
of his life,” Sibyl said.
Keshton chuckled, understanding the long range of her plan as he started eating his own fish. “So now you’ll have the Lunar Moon Pack and millions in wealth. Doesn’t that mean you’ll be encountering him again and
again?”
“No,” Sibyl shook her head, “I will never encounter Edwin in this lifetime.”
Keshton raised an eyebrow,“Then what about the pack and wealth?”
“All of it is going to you, the wealth and pack. The lawyer will approach you regarding this matter, then you can handle it however you see fit,” she remarked.
Keshton gave her another confused look, “Are you…”
Sibyl took a deep breath and nodded, “I am using everything I get from Edwin to clear whatever part of my
debt that I can.”
Keshton’s eyes abruptly shifted, raising a sense of self–consciousness in Sibyl. What did that look mean? Why did he look annoyed when she mentioned paying down the debt? Could it be that he was sneering inside because the money was nothing compared to the mountain of debt?
Sibyl cleared her throat and continued, “I know that the wealth and pack may not cover much, but I believe
that…”
“Why don’t you keep everything from Edwin yourself and enjoy it?” Keshton cut her off.
Sibyl fell silent at the unexpected question and replied after a moment, “When I know there’s a mountain of debt to pay, enjoying wealth and land that don’t actually belong to me is impossible. I’d rather sleep on the ground and have one meal a day than live in luxury with debt hanging over me. I’d rather pay it back little by little and gain my freedom.”
Keshton’s expression twisted at the end of her comment. Rah growled lowly in his head, he looked away before he did something that would scare her. “Great, I’ll handle the lawyer and take over the entire 75%,” he

sald, his voice deep and grave as he took a big bite of fish, finishing nearly half of it. Sibyl Blinked
sudden change in mood. He once again looked annoyed. Keshton added, “You just stay within my pack territory and by my side. It’s dangerous outside.
Sibyl frowned at his mood swing. “Stay by your side? As what? As your w***e that will spread her legs for you whenever you wish?”
Keshton remained silent for a long moment before saying, “You were the one who wished to pay me back with s*x. I am just playing along with the game you started.”
Sibyl’s lips twitched and her back went straight as a board. “Correct and I’m not refusing s*x. But s*x can happen anywhere, not just by your side or in your pack. A territory filled with rogues is an incredibly dangerous place. I was forced to work here. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have come anywhere near this territory. I would have paid the money by working safely outside. My circumstances have changed, I don’t wish to be here since my identity has been revealed.”
Keshton’s eyes snapped in her direction, “Are you saying that the outside world is safer than being with me? Sibyl’s heart skipped a beat at the protectiveness in his gaze. Did she feel safe with him? Memories flooded back in–being alone with him in his office, in that hotel room, and then in the hut, handing herself over to him during her heat when she was weakest. She had even slept with him without knowing much about him. Her heartbeat quickened at the thought of feeling safe with Keshton, a rogue Alpha, a man. She tore her eyes away and replied, “Yes, outside is safer,” her voice low but just loud enough to trigger Keshton.
He crushed the fish in his hand then tossed it into the fire. “If that’s the case, then go outside and earn money to pay the debt like you want. I get that you don’t wish to join my pack or stay with me. As long as you don’t run away, I am fine with everything. But…” He grabbed her hand and pulled her over to his side of the fire. “There is one condition.”
Sibyl placed her hand on his bare chest to avoid falling as peered down at him with wide eyes. Had he really just agreed? She licked her lips and asked, “What’s the condition?”
