In the main hall, Aria wore a light blue silk dress with her long hair elegantly pinned up with a silver clasp, and she stood beside the old Luna Victoria in perfect composure, showing impeccable manners in every gesture and movement.
These protocols had been drilled into her by Eleanor after she bonded into the Ravencrest Pack.
She had spent six months learning pack etiquette, then two years studying diplomatic negotiations, territorial management. and pack blessing ceremonies–all because of Eleanor’s decree: “As a Luna of the Ravencrest Pack, you cannot disgrace our pack’s reputation.”

Without waiting for instruction, Aria understood the gesture and walked up to Eleanor. “Elder Ravencrest.”
Everyone present knew that Aria was the formal Luna of the Ravencrest Pack, but the pack had never publicly announced their bonding.
Everyone in the high pack members circle understood the situation, but no one spoke of it directly.
Eleanor took Aria’s hand gently. “Weren’t you always interested in the Cross–Species Compatibility Research Project? I’ve approved it–go ahead and pursue it.”
Aria looked at her in genuine surprise.
Not only Aria, but Victoria and Kane were also taken aback by this unexpected announcement.
