Lunar Moon Pack
In the middle of the night, a large figure snuck through the shadows, quickly making their way to the Alpha’s office without being seen.
“Alpha!” Leo, Edwin’s Beta, exclaimed in surprise. “You are finally back! We were all worried…”
“Daisy?” Edwin cut him off impatiently.
“Don’t worry, no one knows about your arrival. Luna Daisy is sleeping, and the rest of the pack members are too,” Leo assured him. Ever since receiving the mind–link from Edwin, he had been waiting in the office.
“Thanks,” Edwin murmured, sitting on the edge of the desk as he tiredly rubbing his face with his palms.
Leo studied Edwin’s pathetic condition and inquired worriedly, “Alpha, what exactly happened? Where have
you been over the last four days? And why are you in this state? Did Alpha Keshton harm you?” Everyone had
witnessed the cruel attack by the Eclipse Moon Pack and Edwin being dragged away, but since then there
had been no word from him. The whole pack was in chaos, and ugly rumors were spreading like wildfire.
Edwin stared at his Beta with red puffy eyes, unable to explain that he had been recovering in isolation for the past four days. Most of his bones had been broken during various beatings, he was in terrible condition from
the blood loss, and his wolf’s howling in his mind after the rejection.
“Alpha, please tell me something. Why would Alpha Keshton suddenly attack you? You two don’t even know
each other!”
Edwin took a deep breath and forced himself to speak, “He did all of this because of Sibyl.”
“Luna Sibyl?” Leo was stunned. “Is the Luna with Alpha Keshton?”
“I don’t f*****g know if they’re together or not, but he did all of this for Sibyl, and Sibyl cheated on me with him!” Edwin’s chest burned with the humiliation and pain of betrayal, something he was experiencing for the first time and found unbearable. His wolf had stopped talking to him as if he had been killed or something.
Leo stood there speechless, unable to believe that the pure and loving Luna Sibyl had actually cheated on her soulmate. But then, Leo’s eyes went to Edwin’s neck.
“Alpha, your mate mark!”
Edwin scratched the desk with his claws in humiliation and pain before admitting, “I had to accept Sibyl’s
rejection.”
“Why?” Leo gasped, knowing Edwin’s obsession with Sibyl. He couldn’t believe Edwin would le

“If I hadn’t rejected her, that monster would have…” Edwin’s whole body shook in horror, recalling Keshton’s whispered threats. He had been given two options, both leading to his death. He had no choice other than to let go of Sibyl, otherwise he would not only lose his manhood but his entire body be chopped up and fed to pigs. His entire body started sweating profusely and grew cold in equal measure to the intense pain radiating from between his legs. He could vividly feel the missing part that had ruined his life from the moment it was severed. Then the disaster that followed him….

“Alpha, are you alright? You look really bad, your face is incredibly pale. Is there something else I need to
know?” Leo panicked, sensing something unusual in Edwin. He usually exuded cruelty and strength but now he seemed like a broken man.
Edwin looked at Leo with trembling eyes and admitted, “Sibyl has demanded seventy–five percent of my wealth, business, and assets.”
“What?!” Leo’s eyes widened like an owl’s, and his jaw nearly hit the floor. “seventy–five percent%? Does that include this pack too?” Edwin slowly nodded, his breathing becoming erratic over the mere thought of the outcome when this news got to the elders and pack’s ears. “If Alpha Lester finds out, it will be a disaster
Leo abruptly paused when a shadow fell over the room. Both of them spotted Alpha Lester already standing by the door, having heard everything.
“D… Dad…” Edwin’s face turned white with horror. Lester was the last person he wanted to tell this information to, and now he was the first to find out. It was nothing short of a disaster.
“You bastard!” Alpha Lester furiously charged into the room and smacked his son so hard that Edwin’s healing nose broke again. “What the f**k have you done?!” he barked, his furious growl echoing through the entire packhouse.
“Alpha, please…” Leo tried to beg for mercy, only to step back under Lester’s menacing glare.
“How could you bring such humiliation to the pack and tarnish my reputation Edwin? Now nearly the entire
realm knows about this. Thanks to you, I have lost face, and the entire world is laughing at us. I really admire
your guts to return home alive after dealing such humiliation to this family! And now you come back having lost seventy–five percent of our wealth and the pack?!” he roared.
“I also had no f*****g choice,” Edwin snapped pitifully, sitting on the floor. “Sibyl threatened that if I didn’t agree to her conditions, she would go to the council, then we would lose everything…”
“That’s absurd!” Lester growled, his wolf trying to take over due to his anger. “On what basis would she get seventy–five percent? Why would she make such an insane demand?” As Lester demanded an answer, Edwin’s heart nearly stopped. His father didn’t know about his plan to knock up Sibyl using ancient stories. “She is. not even getting a penny!” Lester growled.
“Alpha Keshton is backing her,” Edwin pointed out, coughing up blood.
Alpha Lester buried his nails into his palm in rage. There was no way he could stand against Keshton, but he couldn’t let this result in such a great loss that would cost him the sum of his life’s hard work. “Alright, it is all about seventy–five percent, right? Then she will get it!”
