Holding a paper bag in her hand, Sibyl walked down the street, feeling both excited and foolish. “Stop acting like a high schooler. It’s just your breakfast,” she scolded herself, but she couldn’t help glancing down at it
from time to time.
When Sibyl had left her apartment building for the club, Keshton had handed her a paper bag with her
breakfast.
“I love meat on a woman more than bones. From now on, don’t skip any meals unless you want me to show up and feed you myself,” he had said before driving away, handing her the bag.
“Does he have to threaten me about everything? And why does he think I’d eat something he bought for me?!” Sibyl frowned, initially deciding to throw the bag away. However, curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she took a bite of the egg and cheese sandwich as she made her way to the club.
The egg and cheese sandwich filled her cheeks until she looked like a chipmunk and her eyes grew warm and happy from its delicious taste. It wasn’t something she had ever tasted from regular restaurants.
She got lost in the sandwich’s taste, but just as she was about to take another bite, someone collided with her so violently that she, the sandwich, and her sunglasses all fell to the ground. At that moment, Sibyl’s white–wolf eyes retreated, and her blind blue eyes instinctively surfaced.
She sensed a figure passing by. “My apologies! I stepped on your sunglasses,” the person said. Sibyl froze for a moment. How could someone bump into her on the sidewalk? Moreover, was it her imagination, or had the sound of her sunglasses being crushed come after the man apologized for breaking them?
As she thought about it she suddenly realized that the man was not only werewolf but his aura was strong enough to let her know that he was an Alpha.
“Did I hurt you?” the man’s voice once again came from behind her. Unbeknownst to her the man was smiling evilly at her back while stepping on her glasses.!
“It’s alright, I am fine,” Sibyl replied, pulling a white cane out of her purse and trying to get up.
“Please let me help you,” he rushed to take her arm but once his eyes collided with Sibyl’s face his breath got stuck in his throat and his eyes grew larger than an owl’s.
Sibyl felt a strange stare coming from the man. Was he staring at her because she was blind? Her eyes moved here and there as she tried to figure out why the man had gone strangely silent and why he was not letting go of her arm.
“Umm… I am alright. Thank you,” she pulled her arm back with a hesitant smile.
“May I know your name?” the man asked.
Sibyl found his question strange as they were strangers. The man laughed lowly, “Don’t misunderstand me. I just want to compensate you for your food and sunglasses so I am…”
Sibyl smiled, “Oh, you don’t have to compensate me.”
“Still, I feel bad,” the man stepped closer to her and unknown to Sibyl his facial expression was beyond normal and desperate. He held Sibyl’s hand and placed a card in it. “Here is my number. You can contact me whenever you feel like it, but at least tell me your name,” the sincerity in his words and his dark expression

did not match.
Sibyl thought for a moment then replied, “My name is Sibyl. Sibyl Hall and I don’t wish compensation, saying that she excused herself then continued her walk to the club with the help of her white cane while she thought about buying a new pair of sunglasses on the way.
The man watched her back disappear down the street. “How is this possible?!” he muttered to himself then drove back to his pack at lightning speed.
Min was talking to a pack member in the living room and became startled when Joseph dashed inside the packhouse then raced all the way to his bedroom.
“Alpha, what’s wrong?” Min raced upstairs to Joseph’s room only to find him going through some old photographs in a box.
Joseph hurriedly tossed the photos that he did not want to look at until the desired photo appeared in front of him, his eyes then popped out.
“It’s her! IT’S REALLY HER!!” he shouted in shock and stared at the photo in disbelief before he started laughing out loud. “Keshton is into this woman?”
Holding the photo to his chest, he lay on the floor and laughed loudly, “Keshton, isn’t this called fate?”
