- REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD
Under the evening sky, Sibyl walked out of the Eclipse Moon Pack’s clearing, feeling confused and uncomfortable with the unexpected turn of events.
“I should not have come to this rogue territory. Nothing good happens whenever I am here,” she muttered, licking the blood from her lips as her wolf began to heal them only slowly.
Zara interrupted her, “Honestly this whole day was bad. Remember Daisy?”
Sibyl silently recalled Daisy’s comment, “Tonight, I will become the Luna of the Lunar Moon and Edwin’s official
mate!”
Sibyl looked up at the evening sky and then down at her watch. It was going to be night in a few hours. That’s when she suddenly bumped into something in front of her.
“Ah…” Surprised, she looked up to find Keshton standing there, already staring down at her. “You…” she
gasped.
Keshton raised his hand and gently touched the corner of her lips. “Who did this to you?” His voice was low, but Sibyl could clearly sense the anger lacing it.
‘Why does he look angry?‘ she thought to herself.
“It’s just a small wound, and my wolf is already healing me. I’ll be alright,” Sibyl explained.
“That is not the answer to my question. Who did this?” Keshton locked eyes with her, causing her heart to race with the murderous intent in his gaze.
“It was just a misunderstanding. Nothing serious, so forget about it,” she stated calmly, not knowing why he was so triggered by her wounds. She was thankful to the goddess that he hadn’t seen Stella’s actions earlier. Keshton did not respond to her evasive answer, where she stubbornly hid the attacker’s identity. However, unbeknownst to her Keshton had witnessed the entire scene in the clearing from his bedroom window. “I never knew you had such a big heart where you forget the offender. Is it so easy to forget?” he questioned, hitting a nerve in Sibyl’s heart. His finger gently brushed over her lips, causing her whole body to become extremely sensitive.
Sibyl’s lips parted slightly at the sensation Keshton stirred inside her. “No, it’s impossible,” she admitted. “Then why delay your revenge?” he whispered, taking a lick of her wound on her lips.
Sibyl clenched his arm softly and whispered back, “Because revenge is a dish best served cold.”
Lunar Moon Pack
Alpha Lester’s entry into the arena was met with a chorus of welcomes and congratulations. The realm’s wealthy and powerful werewolves were gathered, along with the king’s council, to witness a historic ceremony. For the first time, an Alpha was transferring his power, position, and wealth not to his son, but to his unborn grandson.
Daisy stood among the Lunas, basking in their compliments and thinly veiled jealousy. As Alpha Lester stood in the middle of the arena, welcoming guests, and began his speech about the purpose of the celebration while Edwin stood beside him. He was poised to take over the power and position from his father, to lead the

pack on behalf of his unborn son.
“Luna Daisy, you’re going to be Luna soon because of your child. Your son turned out to be your luck, one of the Lunas said, clinking glasses with Daisy.
Daisy smiled, running her hand over her belly. “Of course, my child is the best thing that has ever happened to me,” she stated proudly, locking eyes with Edwin.
Edwin had leveraged his father’s love and desire for his grandchild to regain his Alpha position. Even as a
substitute for his own son, he would lead the pack for the next 25 years.
Despite losing everything, he had found a way to reclaim it all. On the other hand, Daisy was going to be his Luna, already carrying his child, ensuring that no one would ever discover his secret. His secret would be buried with him, and he was on the verge of regaining the respectable life that he once had.
“Daisy, come here and stand beside Edwin,” Lester called.
Daisy’s heart filled with joy as everyone’s eyes turned to her. With her head held high with arrogance, she lifted the hem of her long beautiful dress and made her way up to the stage. One of the respected elders stepped forward to perform the ceremony. Lester began the process of transferring his Alpha position to Edwin, while Daisy was being crowned as Luna.
However, before the ceremony could take the final step, the arena fell into a dead silence.
Every werewolf in attendance grew alert, their wolves sending them signals of the danger that had suddenly engulfed the arena. An unspoken uproar and terror filled the arena, disturbing Daisy as she struggled to understand what had happened. She looked around at the panicking crowd, then glanced up at Edwin in confusion, only to find him drenched in sweat.
“Edwin, what’s wrong?” she asked, her heart unsettled by his unusual behavior. He didn’t answer, instead he stared fixedly at something. Following his line of sight, she looked toward the entrance and saw Sibyl walking into the arena with a breathtakingly handsome Alpha beside her.
“Sibyl…” Daisy’s eyes widened in shock.
As soon as Keshton and Sibyl stepped into the floor, gasps and whispers erupted throughout the arena.
“Isn’t that rogue Alpha Keshton?”
“Why is he here? Is the Lunar Moon under attack?”
“His arrival means death and blood. We’re doomed.”
“I shouldn’t have come here!”
Thanks to the gossip, Daisy quickly realized that the man with Sibyl was actually the rogue Alpha.
“That’s Luna Sibyl!” one of the Lunar Moon Pack members exclaimed, which only fueled the guests‘ chatter.
“Why is the ex–Luna of the pack here?”
“Is she here to fight? I heard Edwin rejected her.”
Bluntly ignoring the gossip as usual, Sibyl made her way across the center of the arena with Keshton. Both of them were secretly admired by the guests, who couldn’t help but be captivated by their presence.
“What are you doing here?!” Alpha Lester burst out in anger.

Sibyl stopped a short distance away, flinching as she fearfully grabbed Keshton’s arm. “Alpha Keshton, I told
you Alpha Lester would not like you coming here. See how he is baring his teeth at you,” she said, her voice
trembling.
Lester’s face drained of color at Sibyl’s remark. “NO… I…” he stammered, trying to explain that he objected to Sibyl’s arrival, but was cut off.
“Is that so?” Keshton raised an eyebrow at Lester, who had nearly lost his composure.
