He looked at Kaha quickly, putting her stuff in the stall to close it and then back to Sibyl and the baby. The soft look in Sibyl’s eyes for the baby was something he could not ignore. Sibyl subconsciously raised her hand to touch the sleeping baby’s cheek. “Then I am leaving first with Liam before it rains,” Kaha came to stand beside the baby. Sibyl immediately pulled her finger back before it could touch the baby or before Kaha could see. “Y…yeah… take care. She panicked slightly, it did not go unseen by Keshton’s eyes. Kaha carried her baby in the baby carrier leaving the umbrella open. Sibyl kept looking at the baby with a heavy heart, oblivious to the heavy rain that had started pouring down. “Why did it start raining all of a sudden?” Keshton grumbled in irritation, taking Sibyl’s hand he raced towards the closed shop for shelter. Standing side by side, Keshton looked at his car that was on the opposite side of the street then back to Sibyl who was still staring in the direction that Kaha had gone. “Do you like babies?” Keshton questioned. Sibyl silently clenched the paper bag and nodded without looking at him. “I love babies,” saying, she looked up to him and asked, “What about you? Do you like them?” Kehshton looked into the pool of emotions in her eyes and she looked affectionately innocent and pure while talking about babies. “I have never thought about it,” he replied. Sibyl nodded in response, glanced down at the half eaten sweet potato in her hand, “Still it will be a great day of your life,” she murmured to herself but Keshton heard her. He did not know what she meant by that. Sibyl pulled out a hot sweet potato from the paper bag and offered it to Keshton,“Want one?” she offered. Keshton looked between her and the sweet potato without pulling his hand out of his pockets. ‘He must find food from roadside stalls dirty, Zara stated. “Oh…” Sibyl released and hesitantly put the sweet potato back. Keshton stretched his hand out and took the half eaten sweet potato from her hand. “Hey, that’s my…” Sibyl choked on her words when she saw him taking a bit of the sweet potato without any hesitation. “I am not fond of food that burns my mouth. I want to eat this one that’s had a chance to cool down,” Keshton remarked. Sibyl blinked when he finished the sweet potato in three bites and started eyeing the one that she was eating. “Don’t even think about stealing mine again,” she warned and placed the paper bag in his hand that still had one sweet potato in it. Keshton looked at her sideways for being so possessive over a sweet potato and shamelessly ate the one in the bag. The rain did not stop even after they waited twenty minutes. Keshton kept glancing at his watch and their phones did not have signals. Sibyl noticed his impatience and looked at the gloomy sky and deserted road, “It seems like the rain will not let up tonight. Waiting here is no use,” saying that she raised her leg to step out of the shelter only to be grabbed by Keshton. “What are you doing?” “Going to the car?” Sibyl blinked at him in confusion and looked at his hand possessively wrapped around her wrist. “Could it be that you don’t like rain?” she got him. Keshton frowned and refused to respond. Seeing his expression, Sibyl grinned and pulled her hand back and stepped in the rain. Her entire body was soaked in five seconds but her eyes behind the glasses remained locked with Keshton, “I love the rain.” Keshton’s heart skipped a beat seeing her smiling at him. “I wish to disappear with its cold drops as they fall on my skin. Crazy, right?” Spreading her arms, her face tilted up to the sky with a soft smile playing on her lips, Sibyl let the rain wash over her. “I wish you could feel it too…” Sibyl abruptly paused in her words. when she felt a hand placed on her cheek. She straightened her head and opened her eyes to find Keshton standing in front of her soaking wet. The man that hated rain was standing under it with her, touching her cheek, “I wonder why I feel nothing but you,” he whispered. Sibyl’s heart skipped at his statement. Keshton decreased the bare inch of distance between the two of them, hooked his finger on her glasses, and removed them revealing her wolf’s eyes. “Tell me what is happening to me?” Sibyl’s chest rose and fell as Keshton’s touch grew bolder around her waist and her breasts brushed against his hard chest, “I don’t know,” she whispered. Keshton blocked her mouth with his lips and asked, “Could it be that I am sick?” Under the heavy

rain, Keshton and Sibyl stood in the middle of the road, kissing, forgetting about everything around them. With his possessive arms wrapped around her thin waist and her arms around his neck, their bodies were glued to each other just like their tongues, intertwined and played. Keshton left Sibyl breathless with his kiss. Her soft moans disappeared into his mouth whenever he bit her lips, and Keshton grew more impatient with each passing second, the heat between them rising to an irresistible point. “I want you now,” Keshton broke the kiss, his amber eyes filled with desire. “Here?” Sibyl gasped, her eyes wide with surprise. They were standing in the middle of the road, and she wondered if Keshton was really considering public s*x. “Wait,” she said, her heart pounding wildly as Keshton grabbed her hand and started to cross the street with her. Sibyl looked around; there were indeed no people in sight, but was she really ready for public s*x? Keshton opened the door of his car and gently seated Sibyl in the back seat. She crawled back in surprise as he climbed in after her, his wet body pressing against hers as he closed the door behind them. Keshton read her thoughts in her eyes and slowly leaned down to her face. “Did you think I would do it outside?” Sibyl secretly clenched the seat, her heart racing. “Men’s lust has no boundary or shame,” she whispered, her voice barely audible yet filled with conviction. Keshton’s eyes were drawn to her parted rosy lips and then back to her eyes, where he saw a wounded soul. “I may not have boundaries or shame, but I will never do something that will break your heart…” he said, slowly covering her eyes with his palm as he leaned down to capture her lips. “I promise.” A tear rolled down from the corner of Sibyl’s eye at Keshton’s promise. “Can I believe you?” she asked softly.” Yes,” Keshton whispered between kisses. With her eyes covered by his palm, Sibyl felt his lips softly healing her broken emotions. Her heart raced with the forbidden feelings rising in her for him. “I know I’m going to regret this,” she whispered back, moving her lips to kiss him in return.
