The wedding venue was a mess.
Staff were cleaning up.
The bloodstains on the ground had vanished.
Caleb’s eyes were wild with madness.
“Where is the person who was lying here just now?”
A staff member rolled their eyes at him. “With that much blood, she must be ice cold by now. Of course, she went where she belongs.”
“That young lady took a bullet for you, and you left and never came back. So heartless. And now you’re looking for her? Too late!”
Caleb fell to his knees, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Impossible, Aubrey can’t be dead…”
“I’m her husband! I haven’t signed anything! No one can take her away!”
The bodyguards behind him cautiously followed, one lowering his voice to remind him,
“Mr. Davies, your divorce agreement with Miss Kingston has already become effective…
But Caleb heard nothing. His voice was hoarse and dry. “Search! You *must* find Aubrey!
Alive or dead, I need to see her!”
His assistant waited nervously nearby with the investigation results.
Only when Caleb stood up did the assistant step forward to report, “Mr. Davies, we found

something.”

Caleb looked at him blankly. “Speak.”
With each sentence the assistant spoke, Caleb’s face grew darker.
“It was Miss Sera who leaked the wedding news on the dark web.”

“We also found records from three years ago of Miss Sera purchasing a ‘super serum‘ on
the dark web.”
“And, we found videos and message screenshots that Miss Kingston sent to your backup
email.”
Hearing Aubrey’s name, Caleb snatched the phone, checking it himself.
The email only contained the video of him and Sera at the hospital.
And Sera’s provocative message from that night: [Sister Aubrey, I heard you were the principal dancer in your dance troupe. But why did he say my waist was softer than yours?].
Another email contained Aubrey’s detailed findings of every meeting he’d had with Sera
over the past three years.
And how he’d applied for a dedicated satellite band, L520, just so Sera could always find
him.
Aubrey hadn’t left him a single word.
No wonder Aubrey’s gaze had been so cold.
It wasn’t jealousy at all, but a heart that had died.
Sera!
For a woman so full of schemes and calculations, he had hurt Aubrey again and again.
He couldn’t imagine what he would do if Aubrey were truly dead.

He slapped himself hard across the face.
He ordered the bodyguards, “Grab Sera! Send her to a live–fire training ground!”
He then contacted the police himself, continuing his search for Aubrey.
A bodyguard ran in, holding a video posted by a bystander. “Mr. Davies, Miss Kingston was taken away by this person.”
Caleb’s face went white as he saw the familiar back.
