Upon seeing this news, the first to go wild was Caleb’s mother, Mrs. Davies.
She repeatedly questioned Sera, whom she had been protecting.

“Didn’t you marry Caleb? Why are you marrying into the Kingston family now?”
“Is the Miss Kingston mentioned in the news really you?”
Sera’s eyes were unfocused as she stared at the distraught Mrs. Davies.
“Mom, you said it yourself, no matter if I’m Miss Kingston or not, I’m your Davies family daughter–in–law.”
Before Mrs. Davies could speak, the door was kicked open by Caleb.
He looked disheveled and worn.
His gaze was sharp as he threw a stack of papers at Sera.
“You’re an orphan funded by the Kingston family, yet you dared to impersonate Miss Kingston and fool my mother completely!”
He pulled out a paternity test result.
“The child you gave birth to is a bastard child, he has no relation to my Davies family!”
He took out pictures from the stack of papers, showing Sera cavorting with people in nightclubs.

Sera knelt on the ground, desperately clutching Caleb’s pant leg.
“Caleb, I still have your flesh and blood in my belly. Please forgive me, I’ll never appear
before you again.”
Caleb’s eyes were like ice. “Only Aubrey can bear my child.”

This time, Mrs. Davies finally fainted.
Caleb calmly stood up. “Take Mrs. Davies to the sanatorium.”
He knew Aubrey wasn’t dead.
He had been so worried at the time that he’d lost his head, but now, thinking back, that

Besides, *that person* would never let Aubrey get hurt.
That was the man who, in the dark alley years ago, had allowed the sharp knife to plunge into him without hesitation, protecting Aubrey completely unharmed.
The man he had once been so jealous of.
He almost forgot, when Aubrey woke up back then and asked if he was the one who
saved her.
His flushed face and guilty nod.
Caleb tightly closed his eyes, shaking his head.
Luckily, that man had an ordinary face.

Caleb tried to comfort himself, Aubrey loved him so much, she would definitely forgive
him.
A bodyguard ran in, panicked. “Mr. Davies, we found out Miss Kingston *is* Miss
Aubrey!”
*Cough*–
A mouthful of fresh blood stained Caleb’s white suit.
