If Aria could find her biological parents, she was happy.
She raised Aria for more than twenty years. Although she didn’t care about her as much as her own son, she still had some feelings after all
“You’re confused, aren’t you? Just because she looks like them, does that mean she’s their biological daughter? There are plenty of people in the world who look alike.” Gabriel took the basin from her hands. “If you’re not going, I’ll go. Stop dawdling.”
Aria returned to Moonrise Apartments and suddenly received a call from Rowan. She picked up and answered, “Rowan?”
“Why aren’t you in the hospital anymore, transferred?”
“Why are you go to the hospital? Are you sick?”
The man signed at the nurse station, “No, a friend broke a bone and was hospitalized. I came to check on him, and I was planning to see you on the way, but you weren’t here.”
Aria nodded suddenly, “I resigned. Anyway, I will be transferred soon, so I’ll just take a long vacation.”
“Are you free to have dinner together tonight?”
Aria stopped in front of the elevator, paused for a few seconds, “Are you treating?”
“What else?”
“If you treat me, I won’t go, otherwise I always take advantage of you, I can’t live with my conscience.”
He laughed heartily and said, “Okay, okay, you treat, for real this time.”
Aria muttered, “Are you kidding me again, right?”
He heard it, rubbing his temples helplessly, “Moon goddess, really, if I pay this time, I’ll teach you how to bark like a dog.”
Suddenly, a woman’s sneer came from the other end of the phone, followed by Rowan’s voice, “What are you laughing at? It’s not like I’m doing this for you guys.”
Aria couldn’t help but chuckle, “Okay, see you tonight.”
“You will send me the address in a while.”
After ending the call, Aria stepped into the elevator.
At seven o’clock in the evening, she had already booked the restaurant early, waiting for the others.
Not long after, Rowan appeared in the lobby, his gaze scanning through the crowd, and he spotted her at once, walking towards her.
He wore a floral shirt, paired with a white casual/suit jacket. This flashy outfit, if worn by another man, would seem tacky, but on Rowan, it exuded a sense of style that few could pull off.
Perhaps it was because he had a naturally “idol–like” face, coupled with a good figure, if he pursued a career in the entertainment industry, he would definitely not be lacking.
Rowan leaned forward, almost coming face to face with her, “What’s wrong, is there something on my face?”
She suddenly came to her senses, shook her head awkwardly, and picked up the menu to order.
