Sylvia’s heart skipped a beat when Angel called. She immediately sensed trouble.
Sylvia asked urgently, “What’s going on?”
Angel said urgently, “There’s a guy named Dillan claiming to be our film’s investor. He’s demanding to see the books, or he’ll shut down production.”
Sylvia immediately understood. Dillan had gotten too deep into his role and actually believed he was Master Cameron. He even went to audit the crew’s
accounts.
“Wait for me.” With that, Sylvia hung
- up.
Byron sat on the sofa. Noticing Sylvia seemed troubled, he arched a brow and asked, “Need my help?”
Sylvia shrugged casually and said, “Don’t worry. I’ve got this for now. Just drop the kids off at school later.”
“Got it. No problem,” Byron agreed, standing up and grabbing his suit jacket, ready to drop Zack and Ruby off at school.
Chase stood by, dumbfounded. Since when had Byron become so agreeable? Being told to shuttle the kids around was completely out of character for
him!
Without wasting a second, Sylvia rushed out of the Blair Group headquarters and hurried toward Century Town.
The set was in total chaos as Dillan barged in with his entourage, demanding to audit the books.
Lately, Dillan had been constantly livestreaming online. People were convinced he was the legendary Master Cameron. Some grassroots organizations had even cashed in on the hype by presenting him with questionable awards. With each new honor, he was getting more and more full of himself.
At first, Dillan felt guilty. After all, he was just impersonating Master Cameron. But as time went on and the real Master Cameron never showed began to hope that maybe something had happened to Master Cameron or he was even dead.

Lately, he’d been drowning in debt, all because of Sylvia’s company.
He was most grateful to Joanna, who had given him tremendous support during this difficult time.
Even the people currently by his side had all been sent by the Moore family.
Of course, Joanna had no idea Dillan was an imposter.
Joanna believed Dillan was the real Master Cameron. Seeing the connections he appeared to have, she thought they could be her ticket into Hollywood.
Dillan stormed into the studio with his entourage and barked at the panicked crew, “Hand over your daily production accounts now! And show me exactly how much is left in the budget!”
Most of the crew had watched Dillan’s livestreams and bought into the online rumors. After all, no one had ever seen the real Master Cameron, so they were completely convinced of Dillan’s identity.
They never expected Master Cameron to just pull this stunt out of the blue.
Among these people, Zander stood out as the clear–headed one. He knew Sylvia was the real Master Cameron, while Dillan was nothing but a cheap impostor.
Zander stormed up, yanked Dillan by the collar, and growled, “Try causing trouble here again, and you’ll regret it!”

Dillan snarled, “Zander, don’t think being an a–lister makes you untouchable! One word from me, and you’re finished in this industry!”
Dillan, having basked in endless flattery lately, was now drunk on his own self–importance. Through gritted teeth, he spat out his threat.
Zander’s lips twisted into a mocking smirk. He was seconds away from exposing Dillan’s scam. This fame–chasing nobody was no match for him.
“Check the accounts or get your ass kicked? Your choice.” Zander closed in on Dillan, towering over him. He grabbed Dillan’s hair with one hand and slapped his cheek with the other.
Dillan felt humiliated and wanted to lash out, but Zander’s calm yet intimidating aura left him trembling uncontrollably.
Even Dillan’s people wouldn’t dare touch Zander. After all, he was an a–lister.
“If he wants to audit the accounts, let him go ahead.” Just then, Sylvia strode into the studio.
Dillan was already terrified by Zander’s actions and about to give up on the audit. But when Sylvia spoke, his face paled visibly and he instinctively jerked his head toward her.
Dillan was afraid that Sylvia would piss off Zander and actually get him beaten up.
“Show him the accounts.” To Dillan’s astonishment, just a simple remark from Sylvia made Zander’s attitude shift instantly. He casually released Dillan and barked an order at a crew member.
Zander was both the director and lead actor of the production, overseeing every aspect on set.
Soon, a crew member handed the accounts to Dillan.
Dillan hastily straightened his disheveled clothes, grabbed the accounts, and began poring over them.
Angel, who had remained silent until now, hurried over.
“Sylvia, Dillan is claiming to be Master Cameron. We can’t just let him get away with this,” Angel said urgently.
Angel knew full well that Sylvia was the real Master Cameron, and seeing someone brazenly impersonate Sylvia made her blood boil.
Sylvia remarked coolly, “If he’s really Master Cameron, it’s only natural for him to check the accounts.”
Angel scratched her head, completely lost about Sylvia’s intentions. But since Sylvia had said so, she must have her own plans and she never came out on the losing end.
Dillan’s jaw dropped as he stared at the accounts. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
The production was burning through millions every single day, and the film’s total investment…
He stared at the number, a whopping nine figures. They’d really poured that much money into this?
He instinctively glanced at the account balance, and his eyes instantly lit up. The amount was enough to fund an extravagant lifestyle for several lifetimes.
“Maybe I could just withdraw all this money now and put it back in a few days…” Dillan thought, barely able to cont trembling slightly.

Just as Zander was about to step in, Sylvia waved him off with a smile and said, “Since he claims to be Master Cameron, isn’t it only right for him to access his own money?”

As if he’d just caught on, Zander let a subtle, mocking smirk play at the corner of his lips. Without a word, he pulled out a tablet, brought up the financial page, and thrust it toward Dillan.
Zander sneered, “Want the money? Help yourself.”
Dillan’s eyes locked on the tablet screen as he frantically tapped the transfer button. Suddenly, a signature prompt popped up.
The transfer required the signature to proceed.
Without thinking, he scrawled his own name on the tablet, only for an alarm to blare instantly.
Dillan’s face fell. ‘Damn it. I’m such an idiot! I should’ve signed Master Cameron’s name!‘ he thought.
He hastily scribbled “Master Cameron“, only for the tablet to sound another alert. The handwriting didn’t match at all.
Dillan’s face turned red, embarrassed that someone might see his mistake. He quickly moved to cover it with his body, trying to hide it from everyone.
After several more failed attempts on the tablet, he finally slammed it shut in frustration and reluctantly gave up.
Dillan said with forced composure, “I’ll keep the money in the account for now. I won’t touch it yet.”
“It’s just a name. How hard can it be?” Sylvia snickered, grabbing the tablet. She signed a name with a flourish and unlocked the financial system on the screen in no time.
