But Elias made it clear to her, “I only wanted to work with you.”
“You looked for a company, so I worked with your company. You started your own business, so I worked with you. Anyway, I chose you as a person.”
He also said, “I’m even glad the deal with Royarch Capital fell through. If I had signed the contract and then found out you left Royarch Capital, that would really not be worth it.”
Britney was really touched.
But while I was touched, I didn’t forget to remind Elias about all the problems we were facing.
First, it was definitely a money problem.
There was only that little bit of startup money, and if we really started running things, it probably wouldn’t last long before it was all burned through.
If the cash flow broke down later, the project was very likely to fall through….
That was what really meant sorry for what Elias did for this project in the beginning.
So Britney’s plan was to try to find new investors as soon as possible. Worked with them to co–develop and incubate this project.
Although doing this could lower the initial investment, it also meant
giving up some data rights,

The shadow that had been bothering Britney for days finally cleared up at this moment.

When Britney was in a good mood, someone just had to come and ruin

Bianca suddenly felt confident and talked to Rodrick with a big smile.

Bianca held his arm and swayed it a little, like couples do when they’re being cute. “Since we ran into them like this, why don’t we ask them to join us?”

His tone was clearly calm, but the words outsider still stabbed Britney in the chest like a needle.

His answer really pleased Bianca.
