It wasn’t a secret that Britney was looking for investors.
Bianca had heard about it too, so she could guess what Britney met Eamon Colton for.

There was a quick flash of a smile in Bianca’s eyes, but she sighed and said, “Yeah, with things so tough these days, if a woman wanted to get ahead at work, she either needed someone to back her up, or she had to make some sacrifices.”
“This just showed how much Rodrick cared about you. You had no idea–after he found out you and Rico were having problems, he kept flying abroad all the time, just couldn’t sit still!”

Bianca paused, “When did that happen?”
“You didn’t know? Rodrick really did love deeply.”
Edward wanted to say something, but Rodrick kicked him.
He wisely shut up.
Bianca didn’t ask further, but she was in a good mood.

Eamon really did have other intentions toward Britney.
So as soon as Britney came, he tried every way to get her to drink.

Eamon was pissed off and was about to curse the guy for not watching where he was going.
Britney, who was standing to the side, stood up and quietly pulled her hand back. She smiled and greeted the person, “Mrs. Colton, you finally made it. We’ve all been waiting for you for so long.”
Eamon’s smile froze on his face, then he realized this was Britney’s backup plan.
