After Katheryn finished complaining, she felt a lot better. Then she asked Britney, “Britney, you seem different lately.”
“Really? What’s different?”
“Your look was different! You used to always wear stiff and serious business suits, and your hair was always perfectly done, super intense! Now you look gentle and pretty, and your lipstick shade looked great, it really made you look lively!”
“Pretty?” Britney asked her with a smile.
Katheryn nodded hard, “Very pretty!”
Britney felt better again.
It had only lasted a few seconds when Rodrick called.
“Britney, come to my office.”
It was obvious Katheryn had been tormented by Rodrick these days. As soon as she heard his voice, her face fell instinctively, and she said, “I’m out, I’m out.”
After saying that, he quickly slipped back to his desk.
Britney’s good mood early in the morning also ended abruptly because of this call from Rodrick.
Britney knocked on Rodrick’s office door, and only went in after making sure he said she could come in.

Rodrick said, “I was going to the hospital to visit a patient later. You went to the Livingston’s villa to get the hundred–year–old.ginseng and some other health products that a previous client gave me. I already talked to Eve, so you just went and picked them up.”
“Okay,” Britney agreed. After all, it was part of the job.
That hundred–year–old ginseng was really precious, but Rodrick was willing to give it away.
