Two months later, Marcus’s company was just one step away from going public. Full of joy, he bought various trending topics to build anticipation.
Lucia’s reality show was about to air, and the trailer had already been released.
That day, I reserved a private room at a luxury restaurant. Henry helped bring my parents
along.
My father asked suspiciously, “What are you two up to, being so mysterious?”
a
I smiled cheerfully, “Mom, Dad, we want you to enjoy lobster while watching a good
show.”
I turned on the television in the room and cast from my phone.
Then I clicked on the top trending topic.
[The Real Homewrecker is Lucia! Shocking Twist!]
I had personally edited the content, which included certificates of all five divorces and remarriages between Marcus and me, along with every divorce agreement we had–signed.
It also contained the paternity test between Marcus and Morris, with a timeline comparison that proved he had cheated on me with his ex–wife during my pregnancy.
I included video clips from that day at the filming location when they falsely accused me of having a fake sapphire necklace and buying the car with stolen company money.
I also attached the payment proof from the auction where my father bought the sapphire
necklace for me.
There was also footage from our later confrontation, showing how they tried to take
possession of my car for no reason.
The article was lengthy, detailing how over the years, he had abandoned me ninety–nine

times for ridiculous reasons involving Lucia.
It caused an uproar. Lucia’s fans began unfollowing her and turning against her.
The reality show was suspended, and all her previous TV dramas were taken down.
Then a second trending topic surged.

Just as we were enjoying the spectacle, Henry’s phone rang urgently.
He put it on speaker.
Marcus’s anxious voice came through immediately, “Mr. Leedon, did Georgina tell you to suddenly stop all our collaborations? Don’t listen to her nonsense. There’s nothing between us. I was about to remarry her.‘
Henry replied indifferently, “Oh, I’ll ask her about it later.”
“Mr. Leedon, what’s with all these penalty fees? How are our building materials suddenly non–compliant? We’ve used the same standards for years. How are they not meeting requirements now?”
“Oh, the government issued new standards for construction safety. Perhaps you’ve been too busy reuniting with your ex–wife to notice the news?”
“Mr. Leedon!”
Marcus tried to say more, but Henry cut him off.
“That’s enough. If you have anything else, talk to my assistant. I need to go now.”
With that, he hung up without any courtesy.

Right after, my phone rang. I didn’t even need to look to know it was him.
I didn’t answer and blocked all his contact information.

Seeing this, my father couldn’t help giving me a thumbs up.
“As expected of my daughter, you’ve inherited my excellent genes.”
My mother gave him a side–eye, “Mine too.”
My father immediately smiled apologetically, “Yes, yes, mostly from my precious wife’s
superior genes, and a small part from mine.”
Looking at our happy family scene, the dark cloud in my heart finally dispersed completely.
“Dad, for the final act, it’s your turn to make an
appearance.”
