Chapter 5
He looked down at me–barely breathing in his arms–and the air around him seemed to freeze.
Ethan finally recognized the man and snapped, “What the hell are you doing here?! Aren’t you that male model?! Get out!”
Old Mrs. Alexander rushed over, gasped at the scene, and shrieked, “Throw that filthy mal model out!” She waved to more bodyguards.
“Leave,” the man said, his voice frigid.
Mrs. Alexander shook with rage. “Outrageous! A whore dares to act like royalty in the Alexande family!”
Just then, an engine roared outside.
The door of a Maybach opened. Gregory rushed over.
Mrs. Alexander grabbed his arm like a lifeline. “Mr. Alexander, thank god! A lowlife barged into the ancestral hall! Arrest him immediately!”
But the moment Gregory Alexander saw the man clearly, he stopped cold–his tone shifting.
“Foster… Young Master Foster? Why are you here?”
Leo Foster replied calmly, “Well, my fiancée was hurt here. What do you think I should do?” Gregory’s forehead instantly dripped with sweat. He spun toward the stunned staff.
“What are you waiting for? Get the helicopter! Call the top medical team now!”
As rotor blades thundered overhead, Mrs. Alexander collapsed to the floor. Ethan watched us leave, face ashen.
He grabbed his father’s sleeve. “Dad! What did you just call him?! In the hospital that day–he… he was just a male model!”
He pointed at the vanishing helicopter, voice trembling. “Luna is mine! What right does he have

Ethan staggered back, face pale. “No… it can’t be… at the hospital, he was just…”
‘Still don’t get it?” Gregory grabbed his collar. “You nearly brought ruin to the entire Alexander family!”
Vanessa suddenly ran over. “Mr. Alexander, I always thought something was off about that male model!”
“Get lost!” Ethan shoved her aside, eyes fixed in the distant sky where the helicopter had disappeared.
His fists clenched tightly.
In his mind, Luna would always be the girl chasing after him, smiling no matter how cruel he was. She belonged to him.

But now, Leo had carried her away–and claimed her as his fiancée. Everything had changed.
Vanessa lay sprawled on the ground, her knee bloodied from his blow.
“Mr. Alexander,” she whimpered, voice shaking, “it hurts… so much…
He looked down at her. Suddenly, her tear–streaked face seemed unbearably fake.
Why hadn’t he seen it before? Her tears always came too easily.
