The surgery lasted from 9 o’clock in the morning until 1 o’clock in the afternoon, a full five hours.
Wyatt had been pacing outside the emergency room, anxious and worried.
Sonia arrived at the surgical department and saw that the surgery was still in progress. She waited for the doctor to come out and report good news, but she didn’t know what was happening inside.
