Suddenly. Sibyl felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end as Keshton’s aggressive aura filled the room. She was on edge, sensing not just a pair of Amber eyes, but a pair of furious wolf eyes piercing into her soul. Her heart raced, but she composed herself, straightening her spine, and standing tall.
“Then please excuse me,” she said, offering a partial smile to the other Alphas. She got up and turned around, walking away at a normal pace.
All the men’s eyes followed her as she opened and closed the door. Then all of their eyes went back to the Alpha sitting amongst them with a dark face, his wolf’s eyes fixed on the door that Sibyl had left through. The crushed glass dropped from Keshton’s hand before he stood up and exited the room right away as well.
Once Keshton’s footsteps had faded down the hallway, Christian burst into laughter. “She is a real wild cat just like Keshton had said.”
Odin shook his head with a chuckle, while Sean sipped his drink, thoroughly amused.
Glen sighed, emptying the contents of his glass in one go. It was the last gathering of Christian, Odin, and Sean with the ranked males of Eclipse Moon, all three of the Alphas were going to leave very shortly to return to their own worlds. So when they asked Glen to bring Sibyl over to their gathering he’d compiled, but he had not known Sibyl would actually get on Keshton’s nerves.
“You guys are really having fun,” he grumbled dryly at three Alphas, only to realize that Aries was no longer there. When did he leave?
“Keshton’s possession is quite interesting,” Christian commented.
“So interesting that…” Odin began.
Sean continued, “She reminds me of my…”
“My wild Bunny,” Christian said.
“My little wolf,” Odin added.
“My red squirrel,” Sean contributed.
All three of them spoke simultaneously, raising a curiosity in Glen, “Are you three raising pets?”
All three of their lips curled into evil smiles as they got up to head back to their destinies, “I am taming her,” they said in unison.
When Sibyl exited the room the door shut behind her, she hastily placed the tray on the decorative table in the hallway and walked away. What was that feeling she experienced? Despite escaping from the room, Keshton’s aura seemed to linger, wrapping around her mind and soul. She wasn’t afraid, but the sensation he stirred in her heart was inexplicable. She and her wolf had never been affected by another wolf’s aura before, but this was the first time she experienced such dominance and aggression, which alarmed her. She tried to hate the feeling, but her quickening heartbeat betrayed her.
“Stop thinking about him,” she muttered, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. That’s when thunder and lightning attracted her attention from outside. “Is it going to rain?” she murmured, looking out once, “I should quickly head home.”
Her serving job was done, but after the events that had transpired in that room, she was certain that she wouldn’t be receiving the promised extra
cash.
Taking a deep disappointed breath, she retrieved her phone from her pocket, only to discover a multitude of missed calls from Nina. There were at least 20 missed calls, which was highly unusual for her sister–in–law. Since the day Sibyl had been taken away by Keshton, she hadn’t had any contact with her brother and sister–in–law. When she returned to the apartment to retrieve her belongings, they were already gone leaving no trace behind. Their lack of communication hadn’t surprised Sibyl, given that they had effectively used her to pay off their debt. However, the sudden flood of calls from Nina was unexpected.
Debating whether to call back or not, Sibyl’s feet halted as she entered the living room. A familiar masculine scent filled the air, causing the hairs on the back of her neck to stand on end. Her hand subconsciously tightened around her phone as she turned to glance behind her. There Keshton was approaching with his wolf eyes seemingly piercing into her soul.
Her heart skipped a beat. Why was he here? Why was he stalking towards her? Had he followed her out? Countless questions swirled in her mind, each coated with the potential threat judging by his demeanor, alarming Sibyl. Could he be coming to get back on her for offending him?

Without wasting a second, she immediately turned around and started taking large rapid steps toward the packhouse exit. She wanted to avoid him at that moment no matter the cost. Though the door was only ten steps away, the distance seemed to take an eternity with the powerful and dangerous figure closing in behind her. What alarmed her most was his silence. Why was he not saying anything?
Once she made it through the exit, Sibyl glanced over her shoulder to find Keshton closer than before. He was really after her! Panic surged through her when she realized she was about to be caught.
Walking faster was not an option anymore so she just ran. The weather had already turned dramatic as it started to slowly rain. She did not care about getting soaked, she was just looking to escape. But where could she run? He was going to catch her in the end and she knew it. Until, her eyes landed on Aries entering the clearing from the opposite direction, talking on the phone with someone.
“You’re already here?” Aries spoke into the phone, crossing the territory hurriedly. “Wait, I’ll be there shortly…”
“Aries!” Sibyl shouted, causing him to stop abruptly.
Aries turned back, his confusion evident when he saw a flushed and desperate Sibyl racing towards him.
“Sibyl?” he began, but before he could say more, she reached out and grabbed his arm.
“You… you owe me a drink, remember?!” she exclaimed, her eyes intently locked onto Aries‘ blue ones as she started walking beside him. At this moment he was like a lifeline for her.
Aries secretly held his breath as his whole body jolted with excitement at Sibyl’s touch. It was the first time she touched him. His hand subconsciously tightened around his phone as her soft hand tightened around his arm as if she owned him. This feeling was so…
Sibyl looked over her shoulder once to find that Keshton had stopped in front of the packhouse as the started to walk with Aries. Actually she practically forced the man to walk with her unaware of the fact that Aries was willing to be dragged anywhere by her.
Sibyl said anything that came to mind in order to escape from Keshton and to keep up her casual act and it really worked.
“I want hot coffee this time…”
She stated and just as a house came into view she casually turned until she was not in Keshton’s sight. Then she quickly pulled Aries behind a wall alongside her. Aries found himself pinned between a wall and Sibyl as she peered around the wall to see if Keshton was still following her, unknown to the fact Aries‘ eyes were fixed on her.
It was the first time he had seen her face so close that he could even hear her breathing. Her lips parted and closed as she tilted her head to peek beyond the wall, her small face frowning from time to time only added a layer of cuteness to her beauty. Aries just closed his eyes and inhaled her scent deeply. His whole body jolted with excitement as his nails scratched divots in the wall behind him.
When Sibyl could not see Keshton anywhere in the clearing beyond the wall, she let out a relieved sigh, “Thank Goddess!” she lifted her head and looked up at Aries. “Thank you for helping!” she exclaimed gratefully only to find Aries‘ eyes looking down at her chest. She followed his line of sight down to her body only to find her chest pressing against his and that she was practically pinning him to the wall.
“Sorry!” she nearly yelped as she pulled away at lightning speed in embarrassment. She was so affected by Keshton that she had not realized that she was so close to Aries.
Aries locked eyes with Sibyl, studied her red cheeks and hesitation that he found absolutely sexy.
“I really did not know that…”
“It’s alright,” Aries smiled but Sibyl’s heart was still unsettled.
“Really? Are you not afraid of your soulmate’s reaction if she had seen…”
Aries’s eyes shifted slightly, “Rogues are rarely blessed with a soulmate.”
Sibyl immediately snapped her mouth shut. Did she step on a sensitive spot for him? Come to think of it, there were no females in the pack. It was obvious they were not blessed with soulmates.
She wanted to explain the situation to him but before she could, her phone rang in her pocket. She pulled out her phone to find it was Nina calling. Sibyl bit her lip in confusion then glanced up at Aries.
“You should take that,” he smiled at her.
Sibyl smiled back, “Thank you,” with that she turned towards the clearing with quick steps.

Aries, still leaned back against the wall, slid down to the ground with heaving breaths. His heart was racing, his whole body was burning, and once he glanced at his down, his bulging cock was yearned to break out of his pants.
“Tuck,” he put a hand over the mouth, glanced at his boner with wide eyes as the corner of his lips raised.
“What’s the matter, Nina?” Sibyl growled as soon as she picked up the call and strode to the pack’s borders to leave.
“Sibyl, where are you?”
Sibyl’s eyes grew dark at her audacity, “even if I was in hell, the day you and Jonathan appear in front of my again I will make sure to snap your necks into two before I feed your corpses to the pigs Nina,” Sibyl’s voice was slow yet full of threats that sent chills down Nina’s spine.
She did not know Sibyl well but she was well aware of her nature. She had always been a woman of her word. She had never been the Luna of a pack in name only. After all she had witnessed Jonathan’s state after when she went to collect him at the apartment.
“Sibyl, I…” Nina could not finish her sentence before Sibyl cut the call not wanting to listen to her nonsense.
Just thinking about Jonathan and Nina made her blood boil. All the pain of the betrayal and anger she had managed to bury over the past few days, had risen all over again. She continued walking but after only a few seconds she got another call from Nina. Sibyl ignored it again and again until it got on Sibyl’s nerve. She decided to switch off her phone but the message that popped up on her screen froze her.
‘Sibyl, I know you are angry but it is about Abraham.”
Seeing Abraham’s name, the memory of that innocent little boy smiling at her flashed in her mind. She did not switch off the phone, she messaged
back.
‘What about Abraham?‘
A second later Nina called again. This time Sibyl picked her call.
“Jonathan was attacked by some wolves when we were leaving the city. He owed them a huge amount of money. We got separated while we were trying to escape, those wolves were hunting us down. I was alone, I did not have anywhere to go. I could not risk Abraham’s life as I was also being chased so I hid Abraham in your apartment before I went to search for Jonathan. Abraham is..”
The phone abruptly hung up.
“Hello?”
“HELLO!!”
Sibyl screamed at the phone in shock. How could Nina leave her child alone? In an empty apartment of all places?! Where there was no food or water. A small child could not stay alone in that dark place. He must be…
“I have to do something,” Sibyl put her hand over mouth in panic. “Abraham… he is…” panicking, she turned around and ran to the borders as fast as her legs would carry her. Her apartment was not close and if she wanted to get there as quickly as possible, she had to shift into her wolf!
In order for that to happen she had to get out of Eclipse Moon territory first. However, just as she was hundred meters away from the border a group of wolves stood there, not allowing her space to pass.
Sibyl stopped in confusion, “Why are you blocking my path? Move, I have to leave,” she stated.
“No one can leave the territory,” a man stated coldly.
“Why?” Sibyl demanded, having no time to waste.
“The Alpha has ordered a lockdown,” he revealed as they spread out in different directions leaving Sibyl there.
Sibyl’s eyes widened, “Lockdown?”
Why would he suddenly have a lockdown? There was no attack or threat. It just did not make sense but then Sibyl’s wolf Zara spoke, ‘He has locked down the pack because of us.”
Sibyl slightly clenched her fist, knowing deep in her heart that her wolf was correct.

It turned out he had not accepted defeat earlier, instead he had just let her go for a while and trapped her this way. The problem was that she did not have time for these things. She could not remain stuck in here when Abraham was alone out there. She had to go find him before anything bad happened to him.
Sibyl immediately turned around, ready to go find Keshton so that he could permit her to leave. However, when she turned, she bumped into Keshton.
Her eyes grew large. How had he found her here? She had made sure to hide her scent and leave secretly so how had he caught her.
“Going somewhere?” he asked, towering over her.
Sibyl’s lips parted slightly and she forced herself to speak, “Yes, I need to leave. There is an urgent situation.”
“Don’t you think you owe me something?” he murmured, tucking her hair behind her ear.
His thumb brushed on the tip of her ear and Sibyl’s body shivered. His aura was sharper than before. Why was he so dominant and aggressive? Was it just because she had offended him earlier? Was such a big reaction expected for that offense? But he said she owed him. What could that be?
She remained mute for a couple of seconds then realized that he may have wanted her to apologize. He must be indicating that she owed him an apology. She did not have a single regret over what she had done or how she acted back in that room but at this moment Abraham was her priority.
“Would you let me go if I pay what I owe?” she questioned.
Keshton stared at her sharp yet confident face where she saw no shame in letting go of some self respect in order to get the lockdown lifted.
“Depends on your answer,” he remarked, his voice deep and grave.
Sibyl took a deep breath and opened her mouth, “I am sorry for…”
Before she could finish, Keshton abruptly tugged the scarf off of her neck, causing her body to bump against his chest, “What are you doing?” Sibyl nearly screamed in shock, immediately putting her hand over her mark to cover it from his probing gare.
He grabbed the hand that was covering her neck and slowly slid it down until the mark lay hare to his eyes, “You owe me an explanation for this mark,” he whispered, lifting Sibyl’s chin up while simultaneously leaning down towards her face, “Who is he?”
