13. PUT THE B*TCH IN HER PLACE 

The Eclipse Moon Pack was rarely quiet, even at night. That particular night was no exception, as the sotin of growling wolves echoed through the room. They were gathered together, shouting and cursing the blind she wolf who had managed to escape with her life after besting them in combat. Their pride had been mercilessly crushed by a female, an outcome that was unacceptable to any of them. 

Despite their simmering rage, they were compelled to restrain themselves. Glen had handed down the Alpha’s orders that the woman should not be touched, a directive that they were forced to abide by. To voice their frustration over the humiliation caused by Sibyl would only invite trouble. 

In an attempt to soothe their wounded pride, the group resorted to heavy drinking and heated arguments amongst themselves. However, there was one notable exception to the group’s behavior, Noah. 

Standing by the window, Noah’s predatory gaze followed Sibyl’s movements from Alpha’s office to the clearing, tracking her until her figure disappeared from view. The way she hurried out of Alpha’s office, her face flushed with emotion, left no doubt that something significant had occurred between them. 

Noah’s grip on the bottle of wine tightened so forcefully that he wished he could crush it in his hand. But the throbbing pain in his two missing fingers only fueled his growing fury. 

“I will cut her tongue…” His acidic muttering reached the ears of the group, drawing their attention to him. 

“What are you going on about?” someone dared to ask. 

Noah’s eyes were filled with rage as he spoke, “That b***h can’t just walk away so easily after ripping my fingers off and dislocating my wrist.” 

“Don’t do anything crazy,” one man advised seriously. “Have you forgotten that she’s not someone that we should touch? She’s the Alpha’s possession.” 

“She’s just the Alpha’s w***e!” Noah snapped, his face distorted with rage. “She’s just a f**k toy to him and nothing more! Since when did all of you start being scared of a slut?” 

The room fell silent. Reflecting on the situation, Sibyl was merely a she–wolf with a beautiful face that might have caught Alpha’s attention. Her arrival in the pack had certainly surprised everyone, as she was the first woman to set foot in rogue territory. Of course, that didn’t mean a w***e who happened to climb into the bed of a monster had managed to carve out a warm soft place for herself in his heart when said beast had no such heart to speak of to begin with. 

Everyone’s faces displayed signs of confusion, and no one dared to voice their doubts. It was mere speculation, in fact what they really wanted to know was the Alpha’s possession, something that they should never even entertain the thought of. 

Noah seethed at their cowardly expressions, “So it seems you’ve all turned into cowards, unlike me.” He smashed the wine bottle on the floor and growled, glancing at his missing fingers. “I won’t allow a woman to walk all over me. I’m not swallowing this humiliation like you lot.” 

Their pride stung sharply at his words as their faces twisted with rage once again. 

“What do you intend to do?” one of them asked, their features darkening. 

A wicked smile curled Noah’s lips once he saw his wolves returning to their original, malevolent selves, the

in the small room she rented in the hostel, the morning sunlight filtered through the window cast the empty bed strewn with discarded clothes, In the bathroom, the shower had been running for quite time with Sibyl standing beneath its steady stream. Despite splashing water on her face repeatedly sne couldn’t shake the memory of Keshton’s bold action when he licked her lips. She touched her lips gingerly, he face flushed and warm. The sensation of his tongue brushing against her cut lingered, as vivid as if it had just happened. 

In the moment, she had been caught off guard unsure of how to react to the gentle lick. If it had been anyone else, her instinct would have been to lash out, fists flying toward their jaw, perhaps even breaking a few teeth, Though when it was Keshton, her wolf and body had inexplicably frozen under the intensity of his touch. All she had managed was to push him away and hastily retreat from his office. 

Returning to her room at the hostel, sleep had evaded her throughout the night as she wrestled with how to act around him from that point forward. 

As she stood under the cold shower, trying to clear her mind, one thing confused her above all else: why had Keshton done it? Had it been a mistake because their lips were close or was it a moment of impulse? Or had it meant something more as he had suggested with his claim of being drawn to wild and experienced women? None of it made sense to her and she found herself unable to shake off the encounter. 

That’s when her wolf Zara spoke, “Could it be because he claims us as his possession?” 

As her wolf mentioned it, Sibyl silently agreed with her wolf. He always referred to her as a possession. So then how could she explain the hardness that she had felt pressing against her for attention. She could not shake off that feeling. 

As she began to dress for the day, her gaze fell on the bedside table, where the $1000 lay untouched since 

the previous night. The memory of Keshton tucking the bills into her bra, his fingers skimming across her cleavage, flashed through her mind causing a slight flush to rise to her cheeks. 

She bit her lip, realizing that she had forgotten about the money tucked into her bra during her hasty departure. The thought of returning it meant revisiting that awkward encounter with Keshton. After some deliberation, she decided to stash the money in the bedside drawer. 

“It’s better I forget about this,” she murmured to herself, pushing the unsettling thoughts aside. With determination, she got dressed and made her way to the Eclipse Moon Pack territory. When she stepped into the familiar surroundings, she couldn’t help but notice some of the men from yesterday that had caused her trouble. Ignoring their presence, she headed straight to the pack hospital, ready to immerse herself in work and put the events of yesterday behind her. 

Sibyl continued working peacefully until her attention was drawn to the sight of several expensive cars passing by one of the large windows of the pack hospital. The cars came to a stop in front of the packhouse, and a group of individuals dressed in crisp black suits emerged. It was clear from their well muscled and imposing stature that they were/werewolves, likely Alphas. 

Their faces remained hidden as they made their way toward the packhouse, but they paused when they caught sight of Aries jogging over to greet them. “You guys made it, huh?” Aries exclaimed with a grin, exchanging fist bumps and hugs with each member of the group.

13 PUT THE STOM IN 

“Yeah, Keshton is too busy to come visit us so we finally showed up here one of them teased, prompting laughter amongst the group. Their attention shifted as Keshton himself emerged from the packhouse. “Don’t go making up stories. It was obvious you guys are busy too. You ass,” Keshton retorted with a grumble, but he joined in the camaraderie, exchanging hugs with each of them. Glen appeared to greet the visitors as well, adding to the lively atmosphere that just barely reached Sibyl standing by the window 

“I wonder what’s going on,” Sibyl muttered to herself. Her comment caught the attention of a gossiping staff member who happened to be passing by. 

“Those men are the Alpha’s friends. They come to visit and hang out once every few months,” the staff member informed her with a knowing smile. 

Taking note of the men’s interactions, Sibyl observed their demeanor closely. The three guests, dressed in black, exuded an air of wealth and authority that marked them as Alphas. One of them even had an unusual 

hair color, hinting at a possible Russian origin. 

“Are they Alphas and also friends with Glen and Aries?” Sibyl inquired. 

The gossiper’s eyes lit up with excitement when Sibyl expressed interest. “Yes, they are,” he confirmed eagerly before departing, leaving Sibyl to ponder his response. 

Her gaze remained fixed on Keshton, who was surrounded by his friends. There was a subtle difference in his demeanor when he was with them, not as cold or emotionless, but still something seemed amiss. 

She was so lost in thought that she failed to notice a pair of amber eyes looking back at her. It was none other than the Alpha. She straightened her back in alarm when she realized Keshton had long ago spotted her standing by the window, his gaze piercing. The sensation of the cut on her lip seemed to come alive once again under his scrutiny. She hastily picked up the chart from the table beside her and walked away. He did not misread the situation, right? 

Glen and Aries went to get their cars but Christian noticed Keshton’s gaze focused on the woman disappearing from the view through the window. Growing up with Keshton he could read Keshton’s eyes and any look he would give someone. The corner of Christian lips curled slightly, Odin and Sean also noticed the intensity in Keshton’s eyes, “Who is she?” Christian asked. 

“Mine,” Keshton replied without bothering to look at any of them. The possessiveness in his tone picked all of 

their attention. 

“Then why is she not in your possession?” Odin raised an eyebrow. 

Keshton lit a cigarette while glancing at the window, “This possession of mine is unique.” 

Christian, Odin, and Sean shared a meaningful glance before Glen and Aries returned with their cars, then all the men got in and drove away to the woods to go hunting. 

This scene was being closely monitored by a pair of eyes for a long time. “The Alpha is gone…”
