Glen was taken aback for a moment, “Wow, for some reason I feel like crap just hearing about their devious move. Aren’t we being played by them?”
Aries smiled handsomely, “I already said we should have finished that mutt off.”
“Don’t smile like that when talking about death and killing. You look sadistic,” Glen grumbled.
Aries laughed lightly and turned to Keshton, who calmly closed the file. “This is the first time someone has played us. Shouldn’t we just wipe out the entire Lunar Moon Pack and take everything for ourselves?” He
suggested.
“Of course, we should finish them off, but we will not do so,” Keshton stated, tossing the folder aside.
“Why?” Aries shot him a confused look.
“Didn’t Sibyl say it’s her personal business and she doesn’t want anyone to interfere? She handled her issue with her ex, and he pulled this stunt to protect his pack. If it’s between them, why should I interfere?” Keshton shrugged then turned to Glen, “Write down everything that would equal seventy five percent of Edwin’s assets that he has transferred into Sibyl’s name. Get the document ready.”
Aries sat there with a bored expression, disappointed that he couldn’t get his hands on the Lunar Moon Pack, while Glen’s eyes were fixed on Keshton reading him closely. Keshton never let his enemies go, let alone someone who tried to outsmart him like Alpha Lester had but this time he was acting out of character.
Keshton noticed Glen’s gaze on him and turned to look at Aries, “Aries, find out who the new Alpha rising in
the realm is.”
Aries nodded in response, only to be distracted by a sudden mind–link. “Guys, I have a matter that I need to handle. I’m leaving first,” he said, standing up.
Keshton nodded as Aries quickly left the Alpha’s office and rushed to the clearing where one of his underlings was waiting for him. “Did you find something? Where is she?” He desperately asked.
“Umm… Gamma Aries, actually…” the man hesitated, glancing at the person that put a hand on his shoulder.
“You may leave,” Trace waved his hand and the man quickly walked away.
Aries c****d an eyebrow at Trace, “What are you doing here?”
“Looking for Sibyl?” Trace raised an eyebrow.
Aries’s expression immediately changed as he stepped closer. “Yes, do you know where she is?”
“Well, if she got the job I introduced her to then yes, I know where she is,” Trace stated coolly.
Aries’s eyes shone with anticipation, “Where is she? Tell me!” Trace’s lips curled into a sly smile, “What will I get in return?”
“What do you want?” Aries asked, ready to offer anything.
“Stella, let me have Stella for once,” Trace said, biting his lower lip.

43 A Werewolf Rising In T…
Black River Pack
Surrounded by the dead bodies of her pack members, amidst blood and cries, a she wolf slid back on the ground in fear.
“DON’T COME ANY CLOSER OR I WILL KILL MYSELF!” she screamed at the wolves encircling her, pressing her claws against her wounded, bleeding throat.
“Kill yourself?” Suddenly, a low, sinister laugh echoed in her ears, chilling her to the bone. With trembling eyes, she looked at a tall man with a strong yet dark presence approaching her.
“Every one of your pack members, even your soulmate, is dead. What are you even fighting for now?” he
grinned.
Luna’s tears finally broke as they streamed down her face. She had witnessed her entire world collapse in just half an hour at the hands of this evil man and his wolves, they had attacked her pack out of the blue and slaughtered everyone, even the children.
Her soulmate had died protecting her, she had nothing left to lose. She lowered her claws from her throat. She asked, “Why did you take so many innocent lives? Why?!”
The man squatted down in front of her, adopting a helpless expression, “It’s just a bad habit that I’ve picked up where I destroy anything related to Keshton.”
“Alpha Keshton?” She gasped in shock. Had her pack been wiped out because they were allies with Alpha Keshton’s pack?
“Who are you?” Her voice was barely above a whisper as he dominatingly kept his blue eyes locked on her. She secretly prepared her claws to kill herself.
“It’s Alpha Joseph,” he smiled, then knocked her unconscious before she could act, tossing her into the hands of his wolves. They started to drag her away for the night fun.
Joseph lit a cigarette as he watched his wolves take over the territory, “It feels so great after returning,” he murmured, crushing the dead Alpha’s head beneath his foot.
“Alpha, what are your orders?” Joseph’s Beta Min walked over to him.
Joseph took a puff of his cigarette and smiled evilly, “Find out what Keshton is up to nowadays.”
