In the evening, Sibyl struggled to focus on her work, her thoughts were consumed by Keshton’s touch and
whispers. The lingering sensation of his hand on her ass and the words he had murmured in her ear kept her arousal simmering throughout the day. Clasping her thighs together, she gradually regained some semblance of composure and managed to finish her assigned tasks before leaving the club.
Her steps were tired, slow, and weak as she exited the building. After only a few steps, her eyes collided with
Aries. He stood there leaning coolly against his bike.
“Aries”
“Want some ice cream?” he asked, raising an eyebrow and showing off the ice creams in both hands.
Sibyl’s withered face lit up. “Goddess, yes!” she exclaimed, happily dashing over and eagerly grabbing one of the ice creams. “Thank you! I was really hungry and you showed up with my favorite treat!”
“Eat it slowly,” Aries laughed, watching Sibyl devour the ice cream. But as his eyes lingered on the ice cream smearing on her rosy lips, he forgot the taste of his own. His wolf growled in his mind, he had to tear his eyes away from her. “Did you skip a couple meals?” he inquired casually as they started walking down the street
together.
“Kind of,” Sibyl admitted between bites. “Things have been a mess since the morning,” she hid the fact that she had not taken a shower yet. After Keshton left, there was an unexpected fight among wolves at the club that evening. The commotion had been caused by different pack wolves, which had been shortly followed by something going wrong with booking the strippers had made her even more tired.
The only good thing that had happened was this ice cream. Her steps grew slower as she looked up at Aries’s handsome face. This man… he was always selflessly there for her. “Thank you for showing up, was really feeling down, but after talking to you, my mood has lifted,” she admitted honestly.
Aries. I
Aries‘ heart took a sudden leap as he turned to look at her, desperation in his eyes. “Do you like when I am with you?” He had to know how Sibyl felt about him, how her presence affected him.
“Of course, I like being with you,” Sibyl smiled brightly at him.
Aries‘ heart skipped a beat as the ice cream slipped from his hand, dropping to the ground. Sibyl paused, turning around to look between the fallen ice cream and Aries. He looked like a lost puppy–innocent and beautiful. She couldn’t remain unaffected by the look in his eyes. “What’s wrong?” she nervously smiled at him. “It’s okay if you dropped yours. You can share with me.”
The corners of Aries‘ lips curled up slightly as he resumed walking beside Sibyl.
“Well, you can always call me when things are a mess or when you need someone to walk beside you. I’ll come over to meet you anytime with a bunch of treats,” Aries stated.
Sibyl glanced at his cocky smile. “Really? You will come? Anytime I call?” she playfully raise
er brows.
Aries grabbed her arm and leaned down to lick the ice cream that had melted onto her fingers, keeping his eyes locked with hers. “Yes, anytime,” he whispered.
Sibyl’s face flushed red at his actions. What had he just done? Her heart raced, and the touch of his tongue had left her stunned.

Eclipse Moon Pack
“What’s going on, Keshton?” Arles inquired as he entered the security monitoring room, finding the Alpha unexpectedly focused on the video playing on the big screen. He stood beside Keshton and joined him, noticing the footage was of the street where the strip club was located.
“Last evening when I went to visit Sibyl, there was someone spying on me from the shadows, Keshton murmured, his eyes scanning every dark spot shown in the footage.
“Spying on you?” Aries frowned. “Who would dare if they weren’t hunters?”
“That’s what I thought. But if it was a hunter, I would have picked up their scent. Also, when I went to check there was no one there just like these footage shows. A hunter couldn’t possibly be quick enough to escape a werewolf’s senses,” Keshton pointed out, stopping the footage and turning to face Aries.
Aries’s eyes narrowed in thought. “It could be someone with knowledge of our abilities, someone who knows
how to avoid detection. But I’ve also gone to visit Sibyl many times and never noticed anything odd, let alone
someone spying,” Aries pointed out, catching Keshton’s interest.
Rah suddenly spoke in Keshton’s mind, “That means someone is only interested when we are with her.”
“Interesting,” Keshton tapped his finger on the desk, watching the footage intently. “Suddenly the hunters are laying low as if they are dead and now someone is spying when I am with Sibyl,” he murmured which perked Aries‘ ears up as soon as he realized that this mess was linked to Sibyl. “Did you look into the rumor about a rising werewolf in the realm?” he asked Aries.
“Well, I tried to collect information about it and even went to the packs that were attacked,” Aries began, his voice tense. “The problem is I couldn’t find much other than that he’s destroying and taking over some werewolf packs. He kills everyone in the pack, so no one knows who he is, but it’s said that he kidnaps the Lunas of those packs. It seems this lunatic fucker has a sick fancy for married, mated, and marked
she–wolves.”
When Aries mentioned the sick fancies of that mysterious wolf, Keshton’s hand subconsciously shook. His mind linked it to unpleasant and disturbing memories of the past, and a quick anger surged through his blood. He clenched his fists, trying to control the emotions bubbling inside him.
Aries noticed Keshton’s sudden shift in aura and frowned. “What’s wrong?” Had something triggered him?
Glen entered the security monitoring room, looking between the two of them. “What are you two doing here?! looked for you two all over the pack,” he looked between two of them when Keshton left the room without saying a word.
“What’s the matter with him?” Glen watched the door close before looking back to Aries who just shrugged his shoulders in response and turned to replay the footage of the dark street.
Glen walked over to stand beside him, noticing Aries‘ serious expression as he studied the footage, “Is it something related to Sibyl?”
Aries nodded without looking at him, “How do
you know?”
Glen leaned on the desk and asked, “Do you like her?”
Aries‘ hand froze on the keyboard at his question.
Leaving the security monitor room, Keshton shifted into his wolf and dashed into the forest for

had always been better than Keshton when he could not handle his overwhelming f****d up memories that ended anger. The more he ran and sweated the more he was able to get control of himself. An hour after sunset he returned to the packhouse and took a cold shower that subconsciously brought memories of Sibyl. “Her scent is even more intoxicating when she does not shower,” he murmured to himself and after exiting the shower he dialed her number.
But even after two long rings there was no response at all and on the third when the call was answered Keshton was the one who spoke first, “Hello.”
There was no response from the other end of the line. He had only a 5 second patience limit to hear her response before he spoke again but he got no response.
Next he did not speak at all, instead he only silently listened to her breathing…
