- That’s Impossible.
“Daisy is one month pregnant with Edwin’s pup.”
Sibyl’s mind went blank. She felt as if her heart had been stabbed by thousands of daggers. So this day had really come?
Leo let go of her arms and walked past her saying, “I will be waiting for you to have that rogue Alpha after me. After all that’s what you are good at. Using people for your own benefit.”
He exited the room leaving Sibyl standing like a statue. The dream that she had wovened for herself with Edwin, he was now living with another woman. All the curses and taunts about Sibyl being barren had turned
out to be true.
Coco stuyed Sibyl’s broken state and slowly got up from the floor, “Si… Sibyl…”
Sibyl momentarily closed her eyes to gain control of her emotions before she grabbed her sunglasses from the sofa then turned to leave the private room without looking at Coco. Coco stood there with a guilty expression.
Grabbing her purse from her desk where her phone was ringing, Sibyl grabbed a bottle of wine on her way then exited the strip club even though it was still two hours before the end of her shift. At this point, she did not care about anything even her job.
Loud thunder and lightning welcomed her outside as the weather changed dramatically. That was when her phone rang again. She looked down to her phone screen and saw Keshton’s name. Her lips quivered slightly at his name and she did not answer the call. She did not want to talk to him. She did not want to think about
him.
However, when the stubborn Alpha did not know when to stop and accept the fact that the other party was intentionally ignoring his call, he called non stop until Sibyl was forced to answer the call. Before she had left the Eclipse Moon Pack he had warned her to answer his calls and never switch off her phone.
Sibyl closed her eyes then held the phone up to her ear.
“Hello,” Keshton’s voice came from the other side of the line, shaking all the emotions in her heart that she was barely keeping under control.
Leo’s poisonous words echoed in her mind, “I will be waiting for you to have that rogue Alpha after me. After all that’s what you are good at. Using people for your own benefit.”
Her hand tightened around the phone and she only heard Keshton’s voice holding back her overwhelming emotions when suddenly he said something that surprised Sibyl, “What happened? Where are you?”
Sibyl’s hand shook as she cut the call without saying a word. How could he tell something was wrong with her? Could he have guessed somehow? But whatever it was she did not want to think about it.
A drop of rain fell on her cheek, prompting her to look up at the sky. People around the cl quickly jogged away, finding shelter under different corners and roofs. Sibyl smiled sadly at the sky and started walking down the alley, drinking from a bottle.
Normal alcohol couldn’t intoxicate a werewolf, which was why underground brothels and clubs had special kinds of wines made just for them. Sibyl had always enjoyed drinking in the past and could handle a few

shots, but the wine she had taken from the club was specifically made for males,
After just a few big sips of wine she walked through the heavy rain making it to the street that her building was on. She was totally drunk, she enjoyed the intoxication more than the taste of the wine. It allowed her to forget everything, even if only momentarily, but the reality of her situation came rushing back in less than 10
seconds.
Her breathing grew heavy with the realization that she could not forget a single thing. She put a hand over her eyes while staggering, “Should I drink the whole bottle to forget everything?” a stream of tears rolled down to her cheeks mixing with the rain.
“Sounds like a plan but it never works,” a low yet deep voice entered Sibyl’s ears as she suddenly bumped into something hard in front of her and stopped.
She gasped at the familiar feel of his large hand as it slowly slipped down to her hand from her face as Keshton’s face came into view in front of her eyes. One arm wrapped around her waist as his intense gaze peered deep into her teary eyes, the Alpha was soaked from the rain along with her.
Sibyl stared at him with wide eyes. ‘How did you find me?‘ she asked herself.
Keshton looked at her tears mixing with rain and softly touched her cheek brushing the tears off, “What’s wrong?” he whispered, hating the state she was in.
Sibyl’s heart skipped at his warmth and the caring look in his eyes. No, she could not have misunderstood that. “If I tell you, will you leave me alone?” she whispered back.
“That’s impossible,” he spoke in unison with Rah and crushed his lips to hers. “You have every choice to make except pushing me away.”
Sibyl closed her eyes, letting her tears flow freely in Keshton’s embrace where no one was going to judge her. The bottle slipped from her hand dropping to the ground as she wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him back.
Unknown to her, down the dark street a stunned Aries stood under an umbrella with an ice cream and watched the two of them kissing.
