Eclipse Moon Pack
In the Alpha’s office, Glen sat frowning as he listened to two wolves responsible for guarding the border. “Two suspicious shadows have been seen hanging around the pack’s border,” one of them reported.
“Are you sure what you saw was correct?” he inquired sternly.
“Yes, it was not only us, many others have witnessed the shadows,” they confirmed.
Glen’s frown deepened as he waved his hand to dismiss the wolves while checking his phone again. Keshton had yet to reply to his messages and wasn’t answering his calls. Suspicious shadows were lingering around the pack’s border, unsettling the members. On top of all that, now not only was Keshton missing, but Aries was also unaccounted for.
“f**k!” Glen growled in annoyance as he got up and walked towards the window.
If the pack were attacked in Keshton’s absence, it would be a huge problem, especially with Aries missing as well. He needed someone reliable by his side, so he mind–linked a helpful and strong warrior of the pack without a title, “Trace, come to the Alpha’s office. There is something going on around the borders.”
He got no response at all, “Trace, can you hear me?”
Glen frowned at Trace’s unresponsiveness and suddenly realized that Trace had blocked all mind–links. Why
would he do that? Just then, Glen noticed a petite figure moving through the clearing, using the darkness to escape unnoticed. Dressed in a black, sexy dress, the familiar beauty was none other than Stella.
Suspiciously, Glen watched her actions from the window. Stella only appeared when Aries was in the pack, but today he was not. She then entered a familiar house–Trace’s house.
Glen’s eyes turned cold. “So that’s why he blocked all mind–links,” he muttered, then kicked the table in frustration. “All these fuckers are just busy with their own s**t, forgetting about the pack!”
“What is the meaning of this?” Stella folded her arms over her chest, glaring at Trace with displeasure. Trace, sitting on his bed with his legs crossed while enjoying an old, delicious wine, looked at Stella with a smile, “You look beautiful as always.”
Stella clenched her fists. “Stop changing the subject, Trace. You know I am in love with Aries, and you still dared to book me for tonight?!”
She had known Trace for years as Aries’s friend, but she had never served any of them. Today, she had been informed that Trace had booked her service for the night.
“What’s wrong with booking a call girl?” he asked, raising his eyebrows innocently.
“It’s wrong when I am your best friend’s soulmate!” she argued aggressively, her face flushed red. “We are lovers and…”
Trace chuckled and stood up. “Lovers?” he began walking closer to her. “When I asked Aries to give me Stella for a night, he said, ‘I should not be asking him. He is not your master or anything. Stella is on her own. She is a call girl and professional. If she agrees to f**k you, then I can have you whenever I want or as many times as I want. It is none of his business,” He stopped a step away from Stella’s shocked figure.

She shook her head. “I don’t believe you. Aries would not say such things. I know you are lying!” she accused him.
“Then how about I call him in front of you and make him repeat the exact words he said to me?” Trace pulled out his phone, but just before he could dial Arles’s number, Stella’s heart pounded violently in her chest. She slapped his hand away, causing his phone to fly into the corner of the room. “I don’t believe you!” she screamed.
Trace’s smile immediately vanished as he grabbed her arm tightly. “Why? Don’t you have the guts to accept that your love has always been one–sided and remain so until your last breath?”
Trace’s words were like a slap in the face to Stella. She bit her lip knowing exactly what a bitter truth every word out of his mouth was. As a pool of tears gathered in her eyes, Trace’s heart softened, “Stop running after him, Stella. Accept me,” he added, lovingly touching her cheek, “Accept my love. I love you.”
Stella held her breath at his confession. She always knew that Trace had special feelings for her but she acted as if she did not see them it didn’t matter. At this point when he openly stated them, she was too stunned to react. She watched his lips inching closer to hers and the heat between both of them kept intensifying, just as their lips were about to touch she moved her face away. “I can’t accept your love. I love only Aries,” she murmured.
Trace stared at her slightly turned face with blank eyes, his sanity finally snapped, “Aries will never love you.”
Stella’s heart hurt with his confidence of words as her eyes snapped at him. “How do you know?! He could
love me one day. I am his soulmate…”
“While she is Aries’s frist and last love,” he bluntly cut her off.
Stella felt as if she had been struck by thunder at the mention of Aries’s first and last love. She immediately looked at Trace with desperation in his eyes. “Who is she? You know her, right?!” she grabbed his shirt and demanded, “Tell me who she is! Please tell me who she is, Trace!”
Trace removed her hands and stared at her emotionlessly, “Why should I tell you? Get out if you are done,” he
turned away.
Stella watched as his back vanished into another room and panicked. The memory of Aries alarmed at the news of a she–wolf crossed Stella’s mind. It turned out that it was none other than Aries‘ first love. The woman that had always been between the two of them even though she was not physically there. Stella put her hand over her mouth, her heart beating in fear.
She never thought that Aries‘ first love was real or that she would actually show up. That also meant that she was going to steal Aries from her.
Stella shook her head in horror then raced over to grab Trace’s hand. “I will sleep with you,” she stated, her breathing uneven. Trace looked between her cold hand then back to her desperate face. “But you have to tell me about that she–wolf in exchange,” she made the deal. “You have to tell me who that b***h is that is coming between Aries and my mate bond. Who is stealing my soulmate from me!”
“Alright, I will tell you,” Trace chuckled lightly and pulled Stella into a kiss. “But how about you stop calling Aries your soulmate?” he murmured after a kiss that stunned Stella. She stared at Trace with wide eyes and for some reason she had a bad feeling about the look in his eyes.
“What… what are you talking about?” Stella stammered in terror.
