- Consequences
Eclipse Moon Pack The cold wind blew softly onto the cliff outside the Eclipse Moon territory. Stella’s nonstop sobs echoed in the surroundings as she stood under a banyan tree at the edge of the cliff, its
hanging roots d around her neck. “If you leave me, I will hang myself,” she sobbed, threatening Aries
with her life. He stood in front of the banyan tree, his hands in his pockets, his emotionless eyes fixed on Stella. “How could you abandon me so mercilessly? Living without you is a punishment worse than death for me. Better that I kill myself.” “It’s your life. Do whatever you want with it,” Aries stated, casually turning to leave. Committing suicide took guts which was something that Stella never had. “Aries!” Stella screamed his name again and again. “I will kill myself! I really will!” She had threatened him using this very trick years ago, only this time none of her threats were going to stop him. Seeing that he really was not going to return, she realized this might be the last time she would ever see him. While dragging her all the way to the Eclipse Moon Pack border to throw her not only out of the pack but out of his life, Aries had already ordered the border wolves to prohibit her from reentering Eclipse Moon. After that order was given she could be killed on the spot if she even took a step inside. “Aries!” she cried, pulling her head out from among the roots and racing over to hug Aries from behind. Aries stopped in his tracks, his expression unchanging. “I’m sorry. Please forgive me, Aries. Please give me a chance,” she sobbed, clutching him tightly. “Do you remember what I warned you would be the consequences to our friendship if the day ever came that you exposed the mate bond to others?” he asked, slowly turning around. Stella’s hand trembled in fear, recalling that moment from years ago: ‘The day you expose our mate bond to others will be your last day in my life.‘ More tears flowed from Stella’s eyes as she cursed the insanity that had taken her over in front of Sibyl. She held Aries‘ hand and admitted, “I was blinded by jealousy. I couldn’t bear the fact that you had love in your eyes for her when I had been craving a single loving glance from you for years. That’s why I attacked her and exposed our mate bond to…” Before she could finish her sentence, Aries grabbed her violently throat, causing her to choke on her words. “What you exposed in front of Sibyl just ruined my relationship with her! She now sees me as a liar, and it will be even harder for me to win her love. All my efforts to get closer to her turned to ashes when you announced yourself as my mate!” he roared in Stella’s face. Stella was so scared of this side of Aries that she cried out in fear, shaking like a leaf. Aries tightened his grip on her throat and pulled her closer, glaring at her with his wolf’s eyes. “If you don’t wish to die, get the f**k out of my life and never show up in front of my face again, Stella. Because if we accidentally cross paths, I’ll make sure to banish you from this city and then from the country,” he promised with disgust, releasing her before turning to leave. As she watched Aries vanish, Stella slowly fell to her knees, feeling as if he was taking away every reason that she had to live with him. “Aries…” she cried, realizing she had lost him forever. Her own stupid jealousy had snatched away her last hope of always being with Aries, even if it was just as friends with benefits. She sat under the banyan tree, staring at the woods that Aries had disappeared into, weakly hoping he would return, but that never happened. Unbeknownst to her, someone else that had been watching from the shadows stepped forward. A pair of shiny shoes appeared in front of Stella’s eyes. “Aries!” she exclaimed, lifting her head with a smile that quickly faded when she realized it wasn’t Aries. “Aries’s mate? But Aries is in love with Keshton’s woman?” The person smiled in amusement and lifted Stella’s chin with his shoe. “Isn’t this an interesting love triangle?”
