Keshton reluctantly pulled his face away, growling lowly in irritation as he sat back, frowning in displeasure.
Sibyl chuckled, putting her blouse back in place. “Don’t pout,” she teased. Keshton took a deep breath, bearing the painful hardness that was not going to go down easily. He glanced at her with narrowed eyes, “You have to take responsibility.” Sibyl was stunned. She glanced at his bulging c**k once and felt her heart. jump. It really looked painfully hard! She really messed with him. “Alright. Tomorrow, I’m taking the day off from all my part–time jobs to take care of shopping and other housework that’s been pending for weeks. That means I’m also free tomorrow evening to take responsibility for you,” she murmured the last sentence lowly. A grin spread on Keshton’s lips as he slid closer to her. So close that his lips brushed against her ear, where he whispered seductively, “Then I will be under your care the whole night.” **** Joseph shattered the mirror at his feet, yet Keshton and Sibyl’s reflection could still be seen in every broken piece. His eyes had a hint of redness, seeing Keshton’s love and care for Sibyl, the sight enough to snap his sanity. “Min, why is this she–wolf still roaming around out there with Keshton when I clearly remember ordering you to capture her and drag her back here to me?” he snarled. Min, who had been standing behind him the entire time, lowered his head. “It’s all because of Alpha Keshton.” “What about him?” Joseph turned his head and glared, not wanting to hear some weak excuse. “Aries, who used to hang around her, is not in the city at the moment. Trace is in a deadly rut, and Glen is busy handling Keshton’s business. The path is as clear as ice. So why the f**k did you fail?” Min raised his head and remarked seriously, “The moment I went to that blind she–wolf’s apartment building, my wolf sensed that I had entered a den of evils.” “What do you mean?” Joseph frowned, noticing the sweat forming on Min’s forehead. Min forced himself to speak, “Every tenant in that building is a rogue under Alpha Keshton’s command!” “What?” Joseph’s eyes widened at the revelation. Min, panicking, took a step closer. “What I am telling you is true. Within two days, the building’s owner changed, and nearly all the old tenants were replaced with new ones–all of them are rogues under Alpha Keshton! The moment an outsider, especially a werewolf, enters, every rogue goes on high alert! I went there as a delivery boy, but I couldn’t even get close to the floor that the she–wolf’s apartment is on. I had to return or risk being shredded by those rogues if they had gotten a hint of my intentions,” he spoke in one breath then paused before continuing, “Not only are they in the building, but they also work at the places where she has part–time jobs. From part–timers to the mere cleaners, they are all rogues. They switch whenever she gets even a simple job like distributing pamphlets. They are everywhere like ghosts, following her. Even though Keshton isn’t with her every moment, he is always protecting her without her knowledge!” Min’s tone grew louder at the end, frustrated by his failure at Keshton’s hands. He kept his eyes locked with Joseph, who listened silently. Joseph then turned around and glanced down at the broken mirror. The corner of his lips twitched before curling into a rage–filled smile. “He has finally found out about me.” Min frowned and walked closer to him.” Then why isn’t he coming after you? I bet he even knows your whereabouts.” “Things have changed. We have come to the point where both our lives and statuses have changed. Even though he is a rogue, he can’t just grab me by the collar due to old enmity or he would earn more enemies because I am clearly not doing any harm. Since I’m not harming him, he has no reason to touch me. I am a respected Alpha at this point, after all,” Joseph turned to Min with a smile. “But now what?” Min grew impatient. Joseph looked passed Min to the beautiful figure standing by the door. “You know Alpha Keshton better, while I know Sibyl,” a female voice echoed in the room. Min followed his line of sight to find Daisy taking a seat on the sofa like a queen and crossing legs. Joseph gently lifted her chin up and whispered, “How about you share that little secret with me? Daisy whispered back seductively, “Sibyl has deep seated trust issues and once she hates someone she hates them until her last breath.” Joseph’s eyes shifted as the past memories surfaced in his eyes. He put his
