“You f*****g sent the our wolves to attack on a werewolf pack behind my back?!” Glen punched the head warrior with all of his strength. Just a moment ago, he was slammed with the shocking news of the Eclipse Moon Pack wolves wiping out a werewolf pack. Not even a dog survived and it all took place in the short period of time that it had taken him to rush to this shifters hotel. He was second in command and not even in the pack at that time, so how could it have happened? Even though Eclipse Moon was a pack of rogues, they also had to follow the rules of the realm and could not kill other wolves as they wished. Such a bold act could raise others to declare war against them. “Now speak! How dare you act on your own?!” he barked at the man after delivering another hard punch.
“I acted according to Alpha’s orders,” the wolf revealed, shocking Glen to the point he was speechless. “Keshton’s orders?” This had never happened in the past, that any attacks or battles had taken place without Glen’s knowledge. He was always the leader of attacks and executed the plan successfully but this time he had not even had a clue that such an attack was going to take place. Keshton did not tell him anything, not a single word.
He stared seriously at the wolf and frowned, “What pack did Keshton wipe out?”
“It was a pack without a name. They had taken over the territory by killing the previous pack’s members.”
Glen’s eyes widened. No doubt, it had to be Joseph’s pack that he must have stolen from others in order to recreate his old pack. Of course, now it’s been wiped out by Keshton. It turned out Keshton had planned it all out ahead of time on his own. Or he had been waiting for Joseph to actually make a move. A move that would allow Keshton to catch him red handed in the trap he’d laid.
Keshton went to the canceled Alpha ball knowing it was a trap the whole time, he went along with Joseph’s plan, pretending to be unaware of the situation.
He glanced at the smashed door and the remains of Sibyl’s shredded clothes on the bed.
It took him a good deal of time to find Keshton in this hotel because there was no scent lingering in the air at all due to the spell. But Keshton found Sibyl before she could be ruined by Joseph. This indicated that Keshton had never stopped looking for Sibyl over the past week. Even though he did not go to see her or
contact her, he never actually broke up with her. Instead he had been keeping an eye on her in his own way and had been aware that she was falling into Joseph’s trap. Joseph stupidly believed that he had separated the two of them and attacked Sibyl to get back at Keshton. However, what he did not know was that Keshton was no longer the Keshton that he had known four years ago.
At this point, Glen himself felt as if Keshton had changed. Changed due to Sibyl and…. “Don’t tell me, he is suspicious of his own friends,” he murmured.

Swaying between consciousness and unconsciousness, Sibyl could only hear some faint and vague voices surrounding her from time to time. The only thing that she could feel was Keshton’s warmth where he held
her the whole time.
Kai hastily got out of the driver seat and opened the door for Keshton. “Alpha, you are hurt too.” “Nothing will happen to me,” Getting out of the car, Keshton walked into the Eclipse Moon packhouse with

Sibyl in his arms. “Where is Trace?”
“Healer Trace has been waiting for you upstairs since he arrived.”
Keshton immediately went upstairs to his bedroom where Trace was waiting for him with everything he would need ready in advance. He was quick witted and had already guessed that Keshton would not take Sibyl to the pack hospital. “How long has she been unconscious?” Trace asked, covering her with the blanket in his hands, seeing she was only wrapped in Keshton’s coat.
Laying Sibyl down gently on the bed, Keshton hurriedly replied, “she is not able to stay conscious at all, let alone open her eyes.”
Trace nodded and first checked Sibyl’s eyes. Keshton’s heart burnt a bit in Sibyl’s ears. Only he knew how he bore seeing her with such wounds. The two nurses standing to the side stole glances at Keshton’s expressions. There was worry, care, love, anger, disappointment, obsession, stubbornness, craziness, and love. It was the first time this heartless Alpha showed so many emotions it was frightening to witness! Keshton’s uneasiness increased with every passing second as Trace silently examined every one of her wounds whether they were shallow or deep.
“The wounds on her belly are quite deep in comparison to the wounds on her face and ear,” Trace murmured, turning to face Keshton. “Her wolf is healing her but she is also safeguarded at this point so I will use my own ability to help her,” explaining to Keshton, he gestured the two nurses towards Sibyl, indicating that they should get on with their work.
They hurried over to the bed and started to work, but Keshton was not satisfied and enquired Trace. “What about her eyes? She did not seem alright to me as if she could not see anything.”
“That’s strange,” Trace rubbed his chin thinking deep, “Her wolf’s eyes seem unusually unfocused when she could clearly see with them before,” he glanced down at Sibyl from the corner of his eye and then back to Keshton, “If it was other case, I could say that she was in shock because of Joseph’s brutal actions towards her but this is Sibyl. She is mentally very strong yet the way she went blind suddenly I think that something or some memory from her past triggered her causing her to go into a suddenly blind state,” he explained.
