Husband’s Secretary Affair Exposed ~Then I Fell Into College Unnarelazde
Chapter 10
Xavier Sterling quickly backed away, turning his head.
Wilda was being strangled so hard her face turned an ugly purple, eyes bulging out of their sockets, snot and tears streaming down.
“Help! Agh!”
Lorian loosened his grip slightly, and she finally caught her breath, gasping desperately as a nauseating stench filled the air.
Xavier quickly covered his nose and rushed over. “Mr. Vale, please calm down. The test results will be here soon.”
Wilda finally realized what was happening. Her face twisted into something hideous–the sweet, pitiful mask finally dropped.
She was past caring now. “Lorian Vale! No wonder Saffron was so desperate to divorce you!”
The words hit Lorian like lightning. His hand went slack, and Wilda broke free, seeing his stunned expression and letting out a vicious laugh.
“Lorian, bet you didn’t see that coming! Saffron left your away ages ago! She’s long gone!”
After getting the paternity results, Lorian raced home like a madman.
In the driver’s seat, his face was lost in shadow, expression unreadable.
“Saffron…” he whispered, drowning in guilt and regret.
He slammed his fist against the steering wheel just as his phone rang.
He pulled over, swiped the screen, and his grandmother’s voice came through immediately.
“Lorian, did you see Saffron? What did she say? Did she forgive us?”
Lorian’s heart sank, but he still tried to comfort her“She’s so sweet and understanding, I’m sure she’ll forgive me.”
His emotions were a complete wreck.
“Grandma, let me call you back later. You should rest.”
For the first time ever, he hung up on her, cutting off grandmother’s sobs.
The villa was pitch black.

Chapter 10
He stumbled through the door, completely lost.
The moment he stepped inside, his heart plummeted into an endless abyss.
The place was completely fucking empty.
Like a crazy man, he tore through every room, yanked open every drawer–first looking for her, then desperately searching for any trace of her.
“Saffron… you really left… you don’t want me anymore…?”
Lorian collapsed to his knees in despair, having searched every corner without finding a single thing that belonged
to her.
He felt completely hollowed out, like a walking corpse in the darkness.
He wandered into the living room in a daze.On the coffee table lay a envelope.
Lorian’s eyes lit up. “Saffron! You’re still willing to give me a chance!”
Clinging to that last thread of hope, he tore open the envelope–then lost his mind when he saw what was inside.
Abortion report.
Divorce papers.
So he and Saffron had a baby too and he’d fucked it all up.
He’d failed her completely.
Lorian’s hands started shaking as he grabbed his phone and dialed Saffron’s number.
“We’re sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and try your call again…”
The mechanical voice repeated over and over, but Lorian kept calling like he couldn’t accept it….
He knelt there pathetically, the divorce certificate beside his knees, tears silently falling onto it.
Lorian shakily called his assistant. “Find my wife!Track her down!”
His assistant jolted awake. “Yes,boss.”
After hanging up, Lorian picked up the divorce papers, his eyes bloodshot.
He stared at that slightly young photo of her, remembering every promise he’d ever made.
You better treat Saffron like a goddamn queen, spoil her rotten, or I swear I’ll kill you.

Chapter 10
“Saffron, baby,I’m sorry…”
His eighteen–year–old self would’ve beaten this pathetic man to death without hesitation.
And it was all because of…
A pale, sinister smile crossed Lorian’s face, his eyes glinting coldly.
“Wilda Devereux, I’m going to fucking destroy you…”
At the Vale estate.
Wilda was on her knees, face swollen and bloody.
Two security guards were slapping her already battered face repeatedly without stopping.
But Grandmother still wasn’t satisfied, screaming“How dare you lie to me! Lie to our family!”
Lorian’s heavy footsteps echoed as he entered. Grandmother immediately rushed over.
“Lorian, where’s Saffron? Did she forgive you?”
The man’s face was dark as he shook his head.
“What are we going to do? Saffron must hate me now!”
Grandmother slapped Wilda again, knocking her to the ground.
‘You worthless bitch! How dare you try to con our family!”
Lorian stared coldly at Wilda sobbing on the floor, remembering his assistant’s call.
Rage and hatred churned in his chest.
‘Get rid of her baby. Now.”
Wilda looked up in disbelief, tears still in her eyes. “Lorian, no! Please! I’ll die!”
But Lorian just looked down at her, all tenderness gone.
“You love acting and faking miscarriages so much!”
‘Xavier Sterling already signed her over to us. Both her and the kid are ours to deal with.”
His eyes were ice–cold. “Drag her out.
Terminate the pregnancy. Then throw her in the basement.”
