The moment Wilda saw Lorian and his grandmother standing in the doorway, she collapsed to the floor in terror, all her earlier arrogance vanishing like it had been a hallucination.
Xavier’s face had gone ashen, trembling in his chair.
No matter how powerful the Sterling family was, they wouldn’t dare challenge the Vales directly!
Lorian helped his grandmother slowly enter the room, and Xavier immediately gave up his seat for her.
“Talk! What the hell is going on!”
Grandmother’s presence was intimidating as fuck.
Xavier had no choice but to drop to his knees and beg for mercy.
“This woman… I met her at some club. Thought she was decent looking, so I kept her as my mistress.”
“Look at me–I’m pushing seventy, my kids are all settled down with families.I used protection every damn time, but
this conniving bitch sabotaged me…”
Xavier Sterling’s face turned dark as he shot Wilda a look of pure revulsion.
“She got herself pregnant and tried to marry me. Fat chance in hell I’d marry a gold–digging whore like that!I had my people slip her some cash at the charity auction, figured that’d be the end of it. But this psycho bitch wouldn’t quit–she fucking drugged Mr. Vale… made him think the baby was his…”
The revelation hit like a freight train. Grandmother just stood there, completely shell–shocked.
Lorian quickly signaled security team to get his grandmother to the hospital. Once they were gone, he turned his icy stare on the trembling Wilda.
Seeing that, Wilda finally came to her senses and scrambled to grab his legs. “Lorian, it’s not what you think! He’s lying!”
Xavier Sterling cut in with a sneer“The kid’s right here–just do a paternity test. You’ll see who’s full of shit!”
Lorian’s expression went arctic, his stare could’ve frozen her.
“…Do it.” His voice was deadly quiet. Xavier immediately snapped his fingers, and two bodyguards appeared.
Xavier Sterling barked“Get this lying bitch to Sterling Medical. Mr. Vale and I are gonna personally watch every second of this test!”
“No! God, no! Lorian, you have to believe me! Don’t trust him!”

Lorian’s hand shot out and clamped around her throat, his eyes blazing with murderous rage.
