Chapter 215
Skye’s POV
“Other allies? Who are they?” I asked Xavier curiously.
Xavier gave me a playful wink. “You’ll find out when you get there.”
“That’s excellent news. When and where? Adrian asked.
“I’ll send a car for you at eight, Xavier replied. “It’s a private meeting, so discretion is important.”
I exchanged a look with Adrian, who nodded his agreement. “We’ll be ready.”
After Xavier left, Adrian and I spent the afternoon resting in our hotel room. As evening approached, I started thinking about what to wear for this secret meeting.
“Should I dress formally for tonight?” I asked Adrian, who was carefully checking his bandages in the bathroom mirror.
Adrian shook his head. “Since it’s a secret meeting, better to keep it casual. We don’t want to draw attention.”
“I’ll wear a hoodie then,” I decided. “It’ll help hide my hair.”
Adrian began removing the bandages from his chest, wincing slightly as the adhesive pulled at his skin.
“Let me help you with that,” I said, quickly moving to his side. The healing wasn’t progressing as rapidly as it normally would for a werewolf of his strength. The sacrifice during the final trial had clearly taken a toll on his regenerative abilities.
As I gently helped remove the rest of the bandages, I looked up at him. “If things get dangerous tonight, I’ll protect you.”
Adrian chuckled, his amber eyes warming as he looked down at me. “You have so little faith in your future husband? This little scratch isn’t going to affect my fighting abilities/
By eight o’clock, we were ready and waiting in the hotel lobby. Right on schedule, a black sedan pulled up outside. The driver didn’t speak much, just verified who we were before starting the journey.
We drove through town and continued toward the outskirts, eventually turning onto a narrow dirt road that wound through dense trees. The headlights illuminated a path rarely traveled, branches occasionally scraping against the windows. After about twenty minutes of driving, we arrived at a small clearing where a rustic wooden cabin stood, spilling from its windows into the darkness.
When Adrian and I stepped through the door, I was surprised to find the cabin’s main room filled with people. There were about a dozen wolves present, with approximately seven Alphas, each accompanied by their Betas.
“Alpha Adrian, Skye! What a pleasant surprise seeing you here, Morgan greeted us warmly, shifting her chair to make
room beside her. “Join me.”
I’m not surprised to see you here at all,” I smiled as I took the offered seat next to the female Alpha.
It made sense that Morgan would be here. Xavier had shown particular concern for her after she collapsed in the maze. Their connection clearly went beyond just film investments.

The other Alphas acknowledged us with respectful nods. I recognized one from the western territories who had strongly supported Adrian’s decision to disband Gravestone pack.
Xavier stood at the front of the room. “I believe most of us have crossed paths during the Alpha King election, so formal. introductions aren’t necessary. Just a month ago, we were all competitors, but today, there are no rivals in this room, only
friends.”
He glanced at his watch, then added, “We’re still waiting for one more person. I’m not certain they’ll join us, but let’s give
them a few more minutes.”
We waited for about fifteen minutes, sipping tea that had been provided. My cup was nearly empty when Xavier sighed with disappointment.
“I suppose they won’t be coming after all. Let’s proceed with-”
A knock at the door interrupted him mid–sentence. Xavier motioned to a warrior standing nearby to answer it.
When the door swung open, I nearly dropped my cup. Leon and Ethan walked in.
“Skye? What are you doing here?” Ethan exclaimed, striding toward me with surprise written across his face.
Leon stood frozen at the doorway, his pupils visibly dilating before he quickly composed himself, his expression returning
to its usual stoic mask.
Xavier walked over to Leon and clapped him on the shoulder. “I knew you wouldn’t let me down.”
“I’m just here to listen to your plan,” Leon replied coolly. “I haven’t agreed to join you yet. If you can actually produce evidence of Thomas’s crimes, I might consider it.”
Morgan clearly didn’t appreciate Leon’s attitude. Her eyes narrowed as she addressed him. “Are you unwilling to join us, or simply afraid? If you lack the courage to stand against Thomas, perhaps you should leave now. I worry about potential
informants.”
Leon remained standing, his face flushing with anger until it resembled a dark liver.
Xavier quickly intervened. “As I said before, everyone who walks through that door is a friend. There’s no need for hostility. Now that we’re all here, let’s get down to business.”
Xavier’s assistant set up a projector, and soon images appeared on the screen that made my stomach turn. They showed several people who looked like doctors directly removing a kidney from a Rogue, then dumping the Rogue at a place that could hardly be called a hospital.
I covered my mouth with my hand, fighting the urge to vomit as the images continued. There were even pictures of minors having their organs harvested.
“This is only a fraction of what I’ve collected,” Xavier said grimly, clicking to the next slide. “I won’t show you everything.
It’s too disturbing.”
The Alphas around the room displayed various reactions of horror and fury. Alpha Morgan’s knuckles were white as she gripped her armrest. Another Alpha from the eastern territories stood up abruptly, knocking his chair backward.
“I can’t believe this monster actually became Alpha King and has ruled us for 4 years,” he growled, eyes flashing yellow with rage.

Xavier held up his hand to quiet the growing murmurs of anger. “I’ve placed all this evidence on 8 encrypted flash drives.” He nodded to his warrior, who began distributing small metal objects to each Alpha.
“The Alpha King transfer ceremony will take place in this town, Xavier continued. “After the ceremony is complete, I will petition the North American Werewolf House of Representatives and Supreme Court for sanctions against Thomas. If anything happens to me, I ask that you all make this evidence public.”
Morgan leaned forward, her expression fierce. “Don’t worry. I promise you won’t come to any harm.”
Adrian nodded in agreement. “Our pack has the best hackers in the werewolf world.” He glanced at Morgan, as if acknowledging her son’s abilities. “I guarantee these files will flood the internet if necessary. Thomas won’t be able to destroy all the evidence.”
Xavier bowed deeply to everyone present. “Thank you all,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
His sincerity moved me.
As the meeting concluded and people began to file out, I remembered my agreement with Leon to dissolve our mate bond after the Alpha King election. The blood curse my mother had confessed to had complicated things, but it was time to end this connection once and for all.
I caught Leon’s arm as he turned to leave with Ethan. “Can you stay behind? I need to talk to you alone.”
