It made sense–just because someone was doing business didn’t mean they’d always meet near the castle. Louis had been surrounded by wealth since childhood; he was used to it. He wasn’t the type to go out of his way just to stay at a castle, so naturally, he didn’t have much time to make the trip.
“But a castle that’s close to modern amenities is still a castle; next time you go, can you take me with you?” Freya completely dropped all pretenses in the face of her absolute obsession with castles.
“And where’s the sincerity?” Louis turned his face to the side. Freya was a little surprised to see him acting like this–but for the sake of the castle, she still blushed and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.
“Alright; next time I go, I’ll take you. If we both have the time, we can even make a special trip out of it–just so you can have some fun.” Louis reached out and patted her head as he gave his promise.
“For now, let’s look at the villas. We’ve gone through this one already; let’s check out the next.” He opened a new folder and clicked through the images.
“This one’s right next to our research institute. It’s got a lot of space; the exterior is more modern, and the interior amenities are all top–notch. Most of the residents work in research- related fields, so the atmosphere is pretty decent. Third and Fifth both own places here. You probably remember the landscaping from your last visit–it’s pretty well done.”
Freya recalled the surroundings from her previous trip to the institute; the greenery was definitely nice. “Honestly, I don’t know the first thing about this stuff. If you were asking me about interior design, maybe–but this? I have no clue.”
“Then just go with whether or not you like it.” Louis flipped through each photo, showing them to Freya one by one. After making sure she’d seen them all, he opened the next folder.
“This one’s closer to Freya’s school. The schools in the area are pretty good; it’d be convenient for the kid. The space is decent too, although the exterior leans more toward classical. Take a look–see if you like it.”
“This isn’t classical–it’s what people think classical looks like. I don’t really know what I like yet, but I’m pretty sure I don’t like this. It’s too mismatched; it just feels awkward.” Freya quickly added,
“But if you think it works, that’s fine too. I mean, I’m not going to be staring at the outside of

“If you don’t like it, forget it; I don’t like it either.” With Louis‘ sense of aesthetics, that style of house was far from his taste. He’d only considered it because he thought Freya might prefer a place closer to the school.
They went through all the remaining properties, but Freya didn’t give a clear answer about which one she liked best.
Louis paused to think. “These are the only listings we have in the city for now. If you don’t like any of them, we’ll probably have to wait a few years until I get into the real estate business myself. The Graham family’s past investments are off–limits–too many complications. Otherwise, I could’ve shown you some of those. How about we go check these places out in person later? It might feel different seeing them up close.”
“I don’t think any of them are bad. I used to be a regular salaried worker–what do I know about villas? Honestly, just pick whatever you think is best. No matter which one it is, if it passed your filter, it’s bound to have some good points.”
Freya didn’t try to hide how she felt. After all, whichever villa Louis bought would be under his name. She was just going to be living in it; where didn’t really matter.
“Then let’s go with that for now. We’ll take a look together later and decide.”
Louis had more than enough knowledge of real estate–his family had once been in the business. But since the villa was meant for Freya’s comfort, of course he needed to bring her along to see it.
“Alright then, let’s wait until you’ve got the time to take me. But I doubt it’ll be anytime soon; I still need to keep up with the film crew’s schedule.”
“No rush; something like this doesn’t need to be decided right away.”
Freya had planned to head to the set the next day, but Louis absolutely refused; he insisted she rest at the hotel.
They had just confirmed their relationship–Freya didn’t want to argue over something like this. Louis was doing it for her own good; she couldn’t help but agree, though a little reluctantly. So the next day, they stayed holed up in Freya’s room again–one of them writing a novel, the other busy with work.

that fragile. I came here to work and study, not to rest; if I keep resting like this, it’s not good either.”
Louis thought for a moment. “Then, when you go back to work, no intense movement. If there’s something that needs to be done, have someone else do it.”
“Mm, no problem.” That was casy enough–Freya agreed immediately. So after breakfast, Louis had no choice but to take Freya back to the set.
