“Wait, are we seriously doing this?” Freya raised an eyebrow. “Aren’t you two worried Louis. will come after you for bringing me here?”
“Actually, Louis is fine with it precisely because you’re with us,” Kendrick said, shrugging. “If you’re with us, what’s there to worry about?”
“You’re taking me to a brothel,” Freya deadpanned, tilting her head innocently.
“Come on, Freya, aren’t you curious? Let’s go check it out,” Baylon urged, his curiosity practically bursting. He gestured for the hostess to lead the way.

Freya was curious too, so the three followed the hostess upstairs to a private room.
The hostess left without another word, smiling as she exited. Soon, four elaborately dressed women entered, each carrying trays laden with food, drinks, and snacks.
The last woman wore a red dress and a veil, holding a violin in her hands.
“Seriously? They bring in a ‘beauty, but she’s veiled. Like any of us have X–ray vision to see through that,” Kendrick muttered, rolling his eyes.
“Exactly. Hey, you–can you take off the veil?” Baylon was more direct, calling out to the
woman.
“Apologies, sir. House rules–the veil only comes off if you guess three song titles or win three games, the veiled woman replied, her voice as clear as a silver bell.
“Great, now we’re playing games. Fine, sing something, and we’ll guess,” Baylon said, leaning back and peeling an orange. After all, in the game, food tasted real but didn’t fill you up, so he could eat as much as he wanted.
Freya helped herself to the snacks too. The bill was already covered, and if they needed. more, these two could foot it
The four women stood by attentively as the veiled beauty took her seat and began playing the violin.

Finally, the veiled woman removed her mask. Freya stared intently, only to find the woman was pretty but fell short of the breathtaking beauty she’d imagined.
Kendrick was unimpressed. “That’s it? I expected a stunning beauty. The developers couldn’t even bother to make her face more attractive? It’s not like it costs them anything. Pathetic.”
“Maybe they got tired of designing faces. This game has so many NPCs, and so far, we haven’t seen two who look exactly alike, Baylon mused, realizing something interesting.
