“Want to try more exercises?” Louis found working out with Freya far more engaging than standard weight training.
“No no. I believe in your strength now!” While confident in Louis‘ abilities, Freya didn’t want to overwork him. The experiment had proven successful–no need to push further.
Still, experiencing a scene straight out of her romantic fantasies left Freya exhilarated. Even after their workout, her mind buzzed with story ideas.
I’m going to incorporate similar scenes into my novels–complete with authentic details!

Post–shower, clad in modest pajamas, Freya curled up with Louis for a movie night. No more crowding around a laptop–their new projector offered cinema–quality viewing. Though Louis had built a dedicated home theater, tonight’s laziness kept them nestled in bed.
Louis held his soft, fragrant wife close, listening to her crunch potato chips between movie critiques. When the credits rolled, Freya gulped her juice contentedly before drifting off.
Though still unaccustomed, she’d learned to accept sleeping in Louis‘ arms as normal couple behavior.
Over the following days, she often accompanied Louis to work–him managing companies, her writing stories–while gradually furnishing their home. Friends‘ invitations went unanswered; her “free time” belonged solely to their domestic bubble.
Louis noticed their home transforming, filling with warmth and life. He approved.
Then Aiden returned.
The boy strutted in with typical teenage bravado, finding Freya arranging new decor in the living room. He bounded over and plopped down beside her.
“Freya! I’m back!”
She ruffled his hair without looking up. “Welcome home. Just let me finish this last piece…” “Am I less important than some knickknack?” Aiden huffed dramatically.
“Of course not. But you’re right here, safe and sound.” Freya finally glanced at him. “Nice

haircut. Very trendy.”
Ah–so that is the urgency. He had gotten a bold new style.
“Took forever to pick this one,” Aiden preened, touching his cropped locks. “Short means no one can mess it up anymore.”
Freya kept assembling her decor. “Right right, no bad hair days with a buzz cut.”
“Exactly! They can rub my head all they want now. The previous one even feels prickly!” Aiden beamed at his brilliance.
Finally securing the last piece, Freya turned her full attention to him. “Want to check out your room first?”
“Uncle already showed me the designs. I picked everything myself.” Aiden shrugged, then grew serious. “Hey… now that we’re back in the mansion, are you going to… you know… go back to how you were before?”
Freya caught his unspoken worry. “Not a chance. People don’t un–grow. I like this version of me–and our life–much better.”
Aiden exhaled. “Good! This is way cooler. If you turned back into that shopping zombie, even Uncle might stop liking you. I definitely would.”
“Don’t fret. Just focus on school and being happy.”
“Oh! Speaking of school…” Aiden dropped his bombshell. “We’ve got a family sports day this weekend. Can you come?”
“Sports day? Do both Louis and I need to go?” Freya had only seen such events on TV. Without children of her own, she assumed both “parents” were required.
