Freya’s mind was still stuck on the fall just now. The guy in front of her was handsome, sure–but honestly, he wasn’t any better–looking than Louis. She wasn’t the type to get all flustered over a pretty face. Figuring he just felt bad about the accident, she quickly shook her head.
“It’s fine, really. I’m totally fine. My clothes are fine, I’m fine, the fall didn’t even hurt that much. You don’t have to worry about it, seriously.”
“Alright then–such a kind and lovely lady. Now, may I have the honor of knowing your name?”
“What happened? Did you fall? Are you hurt?” Louis had been chatting, but he’d kept part of his attention on Freya the whole time..
The moment he saw her stumble, he left Kendrick and the others behind and rushed over.
Freya let Louis look her over from head to toe and shook her head seriously.
“I’m okay. This gentleman accidentally tripped and bumped into me, so I ended up falling. It didn’t hurt, and my clothes are clean. I’m fine, you don’t have to worry.”
Louis couldn’t help rubbing her head. She’d been the one bumped into, yet she was still so soft and easygoing, way too easy to take advantage of.
“Good. As long as you’re alright.”
Once he’d made sure his precious girl was okay, Louis finally turned to glance at the man standing next to her. At first glance, he froze. The guy looked familiar, but he was pretty sure they’d never met.
The handsome stranger had been watching Louis and Freya’s interaction the entire time. When Louis finally looked his way, he broke into a smile, refined yet roguish. “You’re that guy who’s not girly, right?”
Louis‘ face went blank. “I’m not!”
“Not girly? Haha!” Kendrick and Baylon had just walked over and caught that last line–they both burst out laughing.
Louis‘ already iffy mood instantly tanked. His expression darkened, brows furrowing, eyes turning cold enough that even Freya could sense his irritation.
“You misread my name. Maybe look more carefully next time.”
Good thing he had some self–restraint–otherwise this guy’s face would’ve been introduced to
Toor by
now.
“Oh?” This time, the handsome man actually pronounced it correctly, nailing the tones too. But his next sentence dropped like a bomb in the middle of the group.
With full confidence, he declared, “Alright then, Louis. I like your sister. I’m going to pursue her. She won’t give me her contact info, so how about you give it to me? I’m George. I believe you’re familiar with who I
am.”

Sophia shot up from her seat, startling everyone nearby. She quickly realized how weird that looked and sat back down just as fast, flashing an apologetic smile around to calm the mood.

She studied him carefully. His looks weren’t quite the same style as Louis, but they were definitely on par. Wealth? The system had already hinted at that. And his build was even under clothes, it was obvious–very impressive.
Sophia smiled in satisfaction. Now the real question is, how do I go over and introduce myself?
While Sophia was still pondering her next move, Kendrick had already burst out laughing.
“Dude, what kind of name is that?”
Baylon and Quinton couldn’t help but chuckle too. It was definitely unique. Not something most people would come up with. You had to wonder–were his parents messing with him? Or maybe he just didn’t understand English?
“It’s not what you think it is, please respect my name!” George snapped, clearly frustrated. “Mr. Kendrick, that was extremely rude.”
Kendrick’s face turned serious, his tone dripping with disdain.
“If your English is so good, then you should’ve heard of the phrase, ‘Respect is earned. You came right up asking for Freya’s contact info–right in front of Louis. We didn’t throw you out of here on the spot; you should be thanking us.”
George blinked. “Freya’s not your sister? You’re married?” That last question was directed at Freya.
“That’s right, I’m married.” The guy was undeniably handsome, sure–but this kind of random, out–of- nowhere flirtation was exhausting. Seriously? He’s just going off my looks?
“You could consider getting divorced. After all, I’m better-looking than your husband–and richer too.”
